**Extremely Disappointing Stay at Silver Palm Retreat**
My recent stay at Silver Palm Retreat was deeply disappointing and nowhere
There was **no in-house cook**, meaning no food was available on the property. Even basic amenities were missing—**no complimentary water bottles**, and for three people, only **one towel and one soap** were provided initially (additional items were given only after repeated requests). The **liquid handwash bottle was empty**, and when I asked for a refill, I was given a watered-down version. There was **no toilet doormat** until I specifically asked for it.
To make matters worse, I found **a frog inside the room**, which had to be removed. The soundproofing was non-existent; I could hear the caretaker ladies talking and their dogs barking clearly. Lighting in the room was extremely dim, the **TV did not work**, hot water was available only for a limited time, and there was **no bonfire** as advertised. The so-called “forest view” was practically non-existent.
Overall, the stay felt completely **optimized for the owner’s profit rather than guest comfort**. In my opinion, this arrangement is worth no more than ₹1,500, and what I received was a **total rip-off**. I expect a **refund or substantial compensation** for this experience, and I will be sharing this review publicly on social media.
