Review Of Siachen guest house lamayuru

The location of the property is very close to the national highway. It is on a slight dirt road that is hardly 20 meters from the main road. The host Nawang and a lady who is a family member are very kind and the breakfast prepared was fresh and hot. The property is very clean and looks like new. The view from the terrace is great. Lamayuru monastery is a few minutes walk from the village internal road. Monastery can also be reached by tar road from this property.

Very basic infrastructure. No cupboard or wardrobe or even a mirror in the room. Bathroom had a large ventilator that opened into the corridor, so that had to be closed during usage, making the bathroom stuffy. The facility is severely understaffed and run only by the owners' wife and daughter. They are responsive and try their best. Kitchen is not available. The room had a good view.

Rooms are good and spacious, need some changes though. Owner of the stay was very very helping and humble.

The property was really nice to stay at. The room was spacious with a nice view of the mountains although you can't see the moonlands clearly from the room. Even though we were the only guests staying in the property, but we never felt unsafe. Uncle there was very helpful and kind. He even made us an awesome dinner which consisted of vegetables picked from their own garden. Really worth staying for a couple of days.

The rooms were decent but the host was extremely pleasant and helpful. Enjoyed the stay at the location.

The room was exactly the same as advertised online. Very clean and comfortable with a splendid view. The staff was very warm and courteous. And prepared amazing food. They were very helpful throughout my stay. It snowed that day and the host helped us with extra blankets and hot water.

Property was value for money. Host was really humble and helping. I recommend this property.

You will be totally dependent for food and transport for which you will be exploited.
