Stayed at secret garden for 6 days. Its at the amazing location by the beach. Very friendly caretaker and polite staff. If you want an experience of being surrounded by trees and rawness this is the best place.

Terrible Stay

-poor hygiene cardboard walls -no door for toilet just a plastic screen - did not provide drinking water and bottled water was costly - no change of bed spreads on daily basis - unclean pillows covered with smelly cover - floor mats are insufficient - no power backup so most of the wifi was not used. - not a legitimate or licensed stay so no use of complaints total waste of money

Hi Paul, Let us prove we are a legit business and we take the feedback very seriously. -It's wooden cottage not sure why you think it's "cardboard! -They are called shower curtains and it's very commonly used. -Refillable water bottles are provided, bottled water is charged, normal practice. -Water conservation! Housekeeping is provided on request basis for 2 nights stay. -Fresh linen is used each time. There are 3 mats per cottage not sure how many more can we fit in! -No power backup is mentioned in the description. -Your reg. license no is also mentioned on the website with all other info. Kindly read and check the photos next time as it's disappointing for us after all the effort we put to ensure a pleasant stay.

My recent stay at secret garden near arambol beach was an absolute delight. From start to finish, it provided an exemplary experience of both comfort and safety. The location was perfect - just a short walk from the renowned arambol beach, allowing easy access to the sand and surf while maintaining a peaceful atmosphere. Their hospitality set the tone for my entire stay and immediately made me feel at home. If you're looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway in goa, i wholeheartedly recommend this cottage.

Excellent Stay

the place is really great... after booking the place on make my trip, just to check i read the reviews on google and they were pathetic, like out of 10 reviews, 8 were negative and i was worried about my trip. i was going with my girlfriend and our pup. however, we couldn't change the location as booking was non refundable and we just went to the place. trust me guys, it is not what people say it is, the owners, mr. mourya and his business partner sabeera have been amazing hosts to us. each abe everything was taken care by them infact when we planned to go out, they took out pup to take care of it for the whole day. great people. the care taker rinku and cook are really friendly as well. there are dogs at the property, but i can assure that all the dogs are vaccinated and well behaved, nor you or your puppy has to be away from them. good served is good, location is really really peaceful and property is well maintained. whenever i am visiting goa, for me secret garden, arambol is the place where i am going to stay. ♥️ lovely people, lovely place and amazing stay. cheers guys! keep up the great hospitality! loved staying at your place♥️💯

Dear athulya, we are sorry you had this experience. Just to clarify some points mentioned by you, location - we are on the beach what were you expecting? all facilities were provided as mentioned on the website. Cleanliness - these are rustic beach cottages if you had any other problem with cleanliness you should have mentioned and we would be happy to make it good. It is a pet friendly property all dogs are inhouse pets (not street dogs. Bathroom photos are there on the website showing curtains not doors. Electricity is not under our control its for full area. No power back is mentioned on the website.

Decent property in a peaceful location

The property is okay but lacks a x factor. The room we had didn't have hot water connection which was inconvenient as post sea bath in the evening it can get cold. The bathrooms and room in-general were clean but bathroom has a curtain instead of a door. Staff was kind and helpful, they also provided an extra table fan to help beat the heat. It's close to many happening venues in arambol/mandrem.

I like sacred garden it's located just behind the beach, the host pallavi and dinesh were very helpful and friendly, thanks alot to them, i visited with my mom, planning to visit again with whole family in jan.

Isolated and inside - difficult to find at night

The hotel is very inside and difficult to find. The food was good. No ac in the heat also.

Hi jayanth, the location is on the beach, i don't understand how that is bad! there is a proper road access till the private parking of the resort. There are more than 10 buildings and houses around so how is it isolated? you checked-in in the day so finding the same road in night shouldn't have been a problem as there are street lights and signage. The cottages are "non ac" is well mentioned on the site so if you booked a non ac cottage don't expect an ac in heat or any time as they will be non ac at all times. The cottage price was rs. 1500- with breakfast, free wifi, beach access, in house cafe, indoor games, outdoor games, water sports, what more are you expecting in rs. 1500- please check your budget and expectations before booking next time, so other hosts are not disappointed like me and get a bad review! thanks and have a nice day.
