Its the perfect place to stay in Banaras
I stayed at the “Maharaja Deluxe” room. This was my second time here and the experience was as great as the first time. I love the location, cleanliness and the hospitality of this homestay.

Excellent Stay
The room has a nice atmosphere and feels relaxing. The bathroom is spacious and easy to use. The male staff are polite and friendly. Avoiding road-facing rooms ensures a peaceful stay.

It is a cute home stay located near Assi Ghat, however room is very dusty. Deep cleaning needs to be done. Staff is very kind and helpful.

beautiful stay with wonderful hotel staff
This heritage is beautiful, with stunning rooms and bathroom. The staff is very helpful, and the breakfast is delicious. Jitendra specifically helped us a lot , if you want to take boat ride better to take through him, he clicks amazing photos

familyPros: good location, the car will reach the door. Place was clean and well maintained. Cons: not worth the money. Jacuzzi did not work(paid extra for this, rooms are small(feels like a jail once you are in) no shower in the bathroom, it becomes messy too soon. You are not allowed to take your slippers in the room( those white hot slippers were supplied) and guess what the moment i entered the bathroom i slipped. They will close the door after 10:30 pm ( yes you can ring the bell and take around 5 minutes to open it. Might be good for overseas travellers, not for indian parents. Won't book again there.

As you said the Jacuzzi was not working so for that we had already informed Make My Trip what the problem was and they did not inform their guest, Even after that we apologize for the inconvenience caused to you, Room size is very good as per other hotels in Varanasi, this is what is written in our reviews, our hotel has a policy of not taking outside slippers in the room because we treat our place like a temple and hence we provide room slippers to use that in the room. The gate closes at 10:30 pm as your safety is more important and the location becomes quiet after 11 pm. Once again sorry for the inconvenience you faced. Looking forward to seeing you soon. Room was good, staff was good in behaviour but not flexible to let us wait for an hour as our train was a bit late. We requested to stay for an hour but staff has asked for 25% charges of tarriff which is not ideal if we are already paying such high cost of b&b and hardly any option for breakfast. Just omlette and poori subzi.

Dear Guest, Sorry for the inconvenience ma'am you wanted to wait in an hour room which was chargeable and we had courtyard and reception area to wait which we were also told You but you wanted a room so we were told the extra charge for that, and our check in time is 2 pm if other guests would have come then we would have to give them the room and before that cleaning also takes time so a lot of things have to be processed before giving you the room. familyThe place was cleaner than my expectations and no less than a 5 star property. Its a very maintained heritage home and the staff is very warm and helpful. My stay here was perfect and i wanted to stay an extra day just to relax at the property. It’s located near assi ghat and most of the major tourist attractions are only 15 mins rikshaw ride from it.

Worth it!
Location is good rooms are nice. I stayed at sadhu room. Very peaceful food is okayish staff is helpful strict checkin-checkout timings

Great stay with the family in the heart of old varanasi. The ghats are walking distance. The staff is friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting to stay close to kashi temple & ghats. The rooms are lovely.

Wonderful experience
familyWe had booked the prince room for 3 days. The hotel is strategically located in the heart of old benaras. Tastefully done, modern amenities yet retains the heritage of the building. The room, though a bit congested where the beds are kept, is otherwise a well done place with a personal sitting area. The bathroom is huge and very clean. The best part about the hotel is the staff who are friendly, kind and attentive. The hotel only serves breakfast.
