Very nice room fully clean n neat room and the house ower is very friendly.

positives- location was convenient and on the banks of the Brahmaputra. Food was homely, simple and VFM. Amenities- routine. establishment is of an elder vintage and can do with a good remodeling and makeover. Services- Excellent staff and very friendly and approachable Owner Mr Manoj.

Far from the madding crowd, but well connected with city centre. Location is really good. Service is good. The person who looks after guests is very gentle and helpful. Food quality is as good as home made food. Some room amenities need to be increased. As there is no lift, so senior citizens may face slight problem. I recommend for those who prefer loneliness and home feeling.

I had a one night stay here as I was on a pilgrimage to Maa Kamakhya Temple, Umananda Temple, and Navagraha Temple in Guwahati. The suggestion of this place just popped up in my feed. I liked the features mentioned about their deluxe rooms with river view at such economical price. Booked the same through Make My Trip website just a day before arriving here. Loved the room for its spic and span in nature. The furnitures, it's furnishings, balcony and the bathroom are lovely and fantastic. Manoj ji (the owner) has been a host of par excellence, and the wait staff Pabitra ji has been super prompt and friendly in catering to our needs. The wifi is seamless and fast. River view from the room is lovely and was a treat for our weary and tired eyes. Manoj ji also helped us in locating the priest from Maa Kamakhya mandir, for which we can not thank him enough. The location of this guest house is super convenient if you are planning for multiple visits to multiple places of interest. The neighbourhood is dotted with really good and friendly restaurants, cafes, and eating joints. You can order your food here through zomato if you need it. Otherwise, they do provide breakfast and dinner at a nominal extra charge. Overall, I never felt that I was away from home. A definite recommendation to everyone visiting the city and looking for a place to stay!

i stayed at riverview guest house with my friends, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our experience. the room we had was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with a fantastic view of the river. the staff was excellent (mr. pabitra) and always ready to help, making us feel welcome. the setting was perfect for unwinding, and we had a lot of fun without any disturbance. for anyone looking for a comfortable, scenic place to stay, i highly recommend riverview guest house. special thanks to mr. manoj goswami who kept us his utmost priority (despite being a owner) throughout the stay.

Nice hotel. The caretaker is also polite and well informed. The manager speaks english that is a plus point for people like me who did not speak hindi.

Lack basic amenities. No power backup. So if there s power cut, your entire stay will be spoiled, as it happened to me. I called the caretaker so many times, even knocked on his door, but no response. I booked 2 nights, but left after the 1st night. Thre are lots of affordable better places in guwahati. And thers no view, as construction is going on riverside, its noisy & dusty.

The property is located in a very calm & upscale area, and right next to the mighty brahmaputra, offering some scenic views. The room was quite comfortable for a night’s stay. We had no problem whatsoever and even though we had to step out for a function in evening and reach back late at night. Manoj is a great host. Stay was good and hospitality was too good food was expensive. Over all experience was good and refer others to stay

The property is at an excellent locality, just nearby the mighty brahmaputra! the landlord and the caretaker pobitro da give their best effort for a comfortable stay ! i recommend it highly!
