I will remember the place for the 2 Parathas that I was denied to carry with me, to have them a little later. According to their 'complimentary breakfast rules' you can't carry food outside their cafe.
The place is new, clean and well located (just next to the Taj at Dona Paula), but the team lacks common human sense.
The Homestay:
It is a stand alone building, with currently 2 apartments of 3 rooms each on the 2nd and 3rd floor. There is a family room for 4, a deluxe room, a standard room, a spacious living area and a utility-cum-kitchen area with microwave, fridge, washing machine and iron & iron board. Bathroom is spacious and provided with basic toiletries. Carry your own bodywash, if you don't use soap. There is no towel hanger and soap holder.
Cafe:
At the ground floor, the Paprika Cafe is an open to all cafe, it's where they serve the 'complimentary breakfast', which includes only 2 food items (choose from omlette, paratha, poha, upma) and a hot beverage (teas or coffee) served between 8 - 10am. But if you've partied till late and want to eat a little later, then you will need to 'pay' for the same 'complimentary breakfast'. And nor will they pack it for you. So, eat at their will. But, the food is good.
Service:
The guys there are nice, but they offer not much of service.
Conclusion:
Well-located, new, clean property. You can view a bit of the sea from the 3rd floor apartment. But, service needs some common human sense.
Note: Currently, there is loud construction work happening in adjacent plots from 8am - 5pm.
