My recent experience with a villa rental left much to be desired. Initially, the villa we booked was double-booked, and we were redirected to an alternative property with promises of superior amenities. However, the reality was far from the picture painted. The alternative villa was old, with malfunctioning room air conditioners that made our stay uncomfortable. Despite assurances, the promised projector was missing. The pane-er bbq, advertised as a highlight, amounted to a meager serving of 250 grams for our group of 10, and a raw pineapple was provided, unripe and inedible. Attempts to address these issues with the property owner were met with excuses, as they cited prior commitments related to their day job. Overall, the experience was highly disappointing. From the initial double booking to the lack of promised amenities and unhelpful response from the owner, it was a letdown. I would advise potential renters to exercise caution when considering this property.
