The place is situated in a decent location, but there are some critical points I feel compelled to highlight for the benefit of other travelers considering a stay here.
Firstly, I visited during harsh winter conditions, with temperatures around -10°C, yet there was no heater provided in the room. Despite multiple requests, the management failed to make one available. Moreover, there was no power backup in the hotel, leaving guests to endure the freezing cold without any support.
The so-called "hostel" features a common room, but it is poorly equipped, offering no facilities other than basic seating. It felt more like a hotel with no activities or efforts to create a comfortable or engaging environment for guests. Remarkably, this was during the festive season, close to New Year’s, when one would expect at least some form of hospitality or events.
The management imposes overly restrictive rules, such as not allowing guests to invite others, eat in their rooms, or even bring food from the hostel itself. There is no food service available during the daytime, making it incredibly inconvenient. This place operates more like a strict school hostel than a welcoming traveler’s hostel.
The only positives are a balcony and a small parking area, but these hardly compensate for the lack of basic amenities. Even the bedding was thin and inadequate for such extreme weather conditions.
Overall, this establishment needs to seriously reconsider its approach to customer service and hospitality. A complete overhaul of their business model and priorities is necessary if they aim to cater to travelers, especially in such challenging conditions.
