We booked this place based on a few reviews and pictures of the property. On arrival we found its in the old parts of the city, it's like staying in the lanes near charminar of hyderabad. Cars not allowed inside the property and one has to get down on the road and take the luggage inside which can be uncomfortable given the area. Once you are inside it's a different world. The courtyard fountain, the facade of the building and the decor gives a hint of the fine taste of the owner (who was an architect from the colonial era. The room we stayed was actually a suit of two rooms both are well furnished with antique furniture. Bathroom is compact but very comfortable. The common lounge and the open dining space next to a little cosy garden is well furnished and classy, oozing old european style. Food is good though with limited menu of continental as well as dewani cuisine. Service is good and the manager takes personal care of the guests. Only things missing was a telephone in the room. The place is close to market area and the airport is also not far. So those who likes to experiment with different quality of accommodation will not be disappointed. Well recommended.
