Review Of J Hotel

The Location of the property is the best part of the hotel . The rooms are spacious nice and cozy . the front desk at the hotel were really helpful.. due to the cyclone warning all ferry got cancelled and they were gracious enough to check us in again last minute . The food is good however the breakfast buffet could be better .

Low level cleaning, staff none corporative ,and many problem face like drinking water not provide timely and many cockroaches show in our room and bathroom , i am not satisfied with this hotel services

1. Dirty hotel inside and outside. 2. Seems like the Photos of this hotel on Make My Trip are at least 5 years old. Not at all maintained hotel. 3. Very strong bad smell in room. 4. Bathroom door was not closing from inside. 5. No AC in restaurant.

I recently stayed at J Hotel Port Blair and deeply regret wasting on this disappointing experience. do not accurately represent the actual property. The most basic amenity - hot water - was unavailable throughout my stay. Despite multiple complaints, the staff remained unresponsive and showed little interest in resolving the issue. Their indifference to guest concerns was both frustrating and unprofessional. While the food was decent (the only positive aspect), it was served in inadequate portions that left much to be desired. This is unacceptable for a hotel charging premium rates. Both MakeMyTrip and J Hotel need to be held accountable for this deceptive practice that wasted my hard-earned money and valuable vacation time. I strongly advise fellow travelers to look elsewhere and be wary of seemingly attractive listings with professional photos . My experience demonstrates a significant gap between what's advertised and what's actually delivered.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

The location was close to the cellular jail and airport. But the services were not up to the mark. The complimentary breakfast provided was also not good and the options were very limited. Rooms were average. They took a lot of time to check us in. Overall its worth only 2 stars for the price they charge. Chup

This hotel was a complete disaster and nothing like the photos. The room was filthy, covered in dust, with fungus on the bed head. The shower barely worked, the water pressure was almost nonexistent, and no toiletries were provided. The morning breakfast was terrible, with barely anything to eat, and the food was oily and unfresh. Even the kettles were stinking and covered in germs. There were only 2-3 staff members running the entire hotel, and they couldn’t even provide basic things like ice. The entire place was severely under-maintained, and our stay was horrible. We couldn’t even sleep properly.

The rooms are small. They don't have dental kits. Also staff is not cooperative. Better not to stay here.

J hotel rooms were not well maintained. The Air conditioner was making hell of noise. The beds were having some small insects and we couldn't sleep till late night.

The hotel crew was not upto the mark. No person to help wt h luggage. No response for the repeated enquiries made over call from thew front desk.

Room was clean, stay was decent, cooling was good, appliances were working. However, there was no hot water. Staff were humble and supportive. Overall good stay.

Rooms are not clean and compact. Breakfast is just not worth it. Location is good. Staff is easy and well.

Room are smelly and restaurant is pathetic we suffered from food poisoning eating there. The location is good as most of the things are nearby. The hotel staff are mostly helpful but do not expect anything more than basic services. I would not suggest room in the 2nd floor as there are rats in the panel, we could not sleep all night because of the sounds made by the rat.

Food is excellent . But service is very poor . My room TV was not working . Called multiple time then finally arrived in room to check but the problem was still not solved .

Had a bad stay - not worth the price. Rooms were smelly and the staff at recrption was not helpful.
