Review Of Hublal Cottage

1) bathroom was not clean. 2) bed sheets didn't seem washed. 3) towels were not provided. 4) we reached late around 8pm as our bus from pune was late. We called from neural taxi stand to arrange for hot water and the caretaker told hot water is available. After reaching the room, he said hot water will be available next day 7am. He would switch on the 1-l instant geyser only if we call him and ask. Overall terrible stay.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this place. The owner was incredibly rude and unprofessional, with an attitude that can only be described as “rehna hai to rehlo, nai to nikal jao, ” which made us feel completely unwelcome. Despite having a geyser installed in the room, there was no hot water available, which was very frustrating. The bed was unhygienic, and to make matters worse, they don’t even change the bedsheet between guests, which is simply unacceptable. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, or respectful stay. The lack of basic amenities and poor attitude of the owner made this an experience i wouldn’t want to repeat.

The building is very close to matheran railway station. The left half of the building is called hublal cottage and the right is called roshan cottage. Owners stay in the basement. The ground floor had 4-5 rooms. I didn't venture to the first floor & terrace. The room n bathroom were spacious & clean. There was no towel or soap. On enquiry we got drinking water in a jug. Wifi is available. Geyser was working in the morning as well as night. Check-out is at 10am. There was no facility to keep a backpack, instead the owner asked us to pay 800inr and extend our room checkout timing. Ac can be put on on paying 300inr. The room is worth 1500inr. I paid on mmt which turned out to be expensive and not worth it.

The stay was very nice, the owner was very friendly and the staff was also helpful, needed to make the window one sided mirror and everything was visible from outside, curtains were there but still needs one sided mirror window

Mention gallery room on mm t but not got the same. Poor hotel, poor facility not at all recommended. Used towel, not clean room, not clean toilet.

Location is good but not clean cottage, crouches are around the room, no hot water in the room, you call the room service boy in morning and then he brings hot water a bucket

Location is very close to matheran station, and service was very good too. Not much amenities in it but a very pleasant stay i must say.

It was average stay at hublal cottage. Cleanliness can be improved. Near to market and matheran station. Easily accessible to explore market.

Rooms were clean and the staff was very responsive, good wifi and connectivity to the market area and other hotels. It is directly opposite to the train station.

Best trip and best service hotel

As a hill station and having cold weather. It is expected to have hot water in rooms. Instead you have to call and ask for it everytime. Rooms are clean and average. Bathroom and toilets not so much. It's okay if you are looking for a budget stay. But still a little bit on high side

Excellent location and the nice caretaker who ensured that we had everything required. Would highly recommend and come here again.

The stay was very nice. The room was neat and clean and most importantly the cottage was in the main location from where you can access each of the points. It's even close to market and restaurants. The caretaker was very helpful and even the owner. The only problem we faced was they didn't have a flowing hot water tap. The stay was wonderful and great. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Room was clean and spacious but bathroom had very bad smell and very dirty. Hot was only available in morning with bucket. Hotel didnt have reception we have call on phone for any needs.

Stay was fairly good. Room was small but convenient. Very near to station. Tea coffee supplied in the hotel room was tasty. Only one attendent but he is very efficient. No reason provided to complain. By and large value for money.

Please refund amound. Ham vaha ruke bhi nahi. Thoda bhi achha nah i tha

rooms are spacious, AC worked absolutely fine. Food service was good.

Room was neat clean. But water geaser not working however they have provided hot water for bath. Overall it's average.

Very peaceful serene place. Convenient to reach station.
