Review Of Hotel Vishaka Palace

The room is beautiful with king size bed can accomodate a couple and their child. It's situated little interior from the main market for a good peacefull ambiance. Food quality is little better then average. The balcony provides a not forgetting exceptionally beautiful view during sun rise. A parking is also there. The staff are good behaving.

Rooms are not properly maintained. Bathroom showers were not working. Hot water was not available, you have to ask. Cleanliness of bath not ok. Food quality was very poor both in dinner and breakfast. Service quality is compromised as less number of staff.

Food was good and less oily. I think food was the best part. View from hotel was also good. We couldn't spot himalayas due to hazy weather conditions.

Hotel employees were very helpful and took care of all our requirements. The heater could have been of better quality. Visited in a group of 6 and stayed overnight.

Very poor facilities broken Almera did not provide hot water as per need. Electricity issue, tv not working, no wifi.

Excellent services and very co-operative staff. The staff is very courteous. The hotel location has advantage of viewing Himalaya from their roof as well as from balcony. We enjoyed and had very pleasant stay. Wish to stay at this hotel only again.

Worth for money. You can see the sun rise and sunset from your bed. Nice location. Staff are friendly. Mr Jamal the manager of the hotel co-operate with me at his level best. There was a truck accident on the way, 3. 5 km before the hotel. We struck up on the way from Almora to the hotel. I called Mr. Kamal, that we will be late. He assured me for room and asked for food at 11 pm night. Thanks

The hotel is located far inside the forest with no nearby shops for options. Rooms are huge but food is extremely poor. Service is OK but requires a lot of improvement. Picturesque scenery are available from the room.

I am booking for 2 days but behaviour of staff is very bad. I request to change the menu in food but he deny every time and ask every item is chargeable because I booked the hotel from Makemytrip. So I will not recommend the hotel to book with breakfast and dinner.

Smelly rooms, dirty linen, bad quality food and deadly insects.. My son was subjected to insect bite... No proper medical support provided. House keeping pathetic... A big NO... MMT should black list. A honest suggestion by a loyal customer.

I stayed in Hotel last night stay was very pleasant. Staff was very Helpful. Food is very nice, Himalaya view from room is tremendous. Room condition very nice well maintained room awesome view for all rooms we surely recommended this hotel.

We had the best experience with this hotel. They had a brilliant view from ALL the rooms, a beautiful terrace and Kumaoni food in their restaurant - which we didn't find anywhere else. Good people too!

We stayed in Hotel Vishaka Palace Kausani. Our stay was awesome and food quality is very good. Location was awesome seen Himalaya from your room balcony morning view of sunrise from hotel was marvellous. Doing bonfire in evening was wonderful but hotel charged for bonfire it's not costly. Staff was very cooperative to everyone who visited in Kausani.

I visited the Hotel this month (April 2016). Nothing extraordinary to expect, but a cool little place with very cooperative staff. Food was reasonably good (if you order basic veg or non-veg items). You will have an excellent view of the mountains and will be able to view pristine sunrise. Early mornings will really refresh you. Hot water was available. We stayed there for three days and will really cherish those days. For those who would like to have a simple stay with not much fuss.

This hotel location was good but lacks basic amenities like 24 into 7 hot water and AC. The rooms and linen are dirty. Have limited choices for food. not courteous staff. Absolutely not worth the money. Does not qualify even for 2 star category.

Went there late in the night and staff was waiting outside and helped us thoroughly in finding my way towards the hotel. They had our dinner prepared and served it quite well in the night itself. Location is excellent and one should stay once there while in Kausani.

We reached late at around 10.30-11.00 pm. The hotel staff was waiting for us. It was very cold and they served us steaming hot tea. They also served garma garam roti and subji. Hotel rooms were clean an offered nice view of Himalaya from windows and balcony. Overall we would rate this hotel a value for money, decent hotel.
