Review Of Hotel Shivalik

Nice property. Cleanliness was very well maintained. The rooms were also king size rooms proper deluxe rooms. Food was also nice. The location of the Hotel was at perfect place centre of the Mall Road. Parking was also well maintained.

I suggest not to book this hotel. Too much conjusted, foul smell in room, please take necessary action in hotel

Bed sheets are dirty and torn, not hygienic

This time we did not get our go-to hotel in Mcleodgunj (Bhagsu), so chose this one, primarily because of the location. That's the only thing which is great about this hotel: location. It's right at the fork of the Temple road, meaning you will have all the facilities of the main square but will not have to face the crowded walk. The room had a partial Pong-valley view, but opened almost at the busy market on the Temple Road below. But more than anything, what we disliked the most was the service. The staff were quite rude. Also, the rooms were not properly cleaned, there was a vapid odor in the bathroom, the pillow was dirty and odorous (and wasn't changed even after complaining). The manager was also demanding a separate charge for room heater, but drooped that after some arguments. Overall, quite bad experience.
