I had a terrible experience with this hotel in Lucknow. My check-in time was clearly mentioned as 12:00 PM, but I arrived at 9:00 PM after a long journey, expecting a smooth check-in. Instead, the hotel staff denied entry, claiming that I paid was too little and refused to honor the booking.
I had booked an AC room for 3 people, but they said they would only provide a non-AC room and told me to contact OYO if I had any issues. I contacted OYO support, and they initially told me to cancel the booking and pay ₹1000 directly to the hotel. I refused and explained the entire situation to OYO. During the conversation, the hotel manager told OYO that they would only allow check-in if OYO paid them ₹500 extra as compensation. To help me check in, OYO paid the ₹500 directly to the hotel.
Even after that, the hotel refused to provide the extra bed included in the booking. When I asked for the AC remote, they denied having one. Every request was either ignored or rejected, and the manager's attitude was extremely rude and unprofessional. I contacted OYO again and spent over an hour trying to resolve the issue, but they did not help either. The manager stopped taking calls and continued to deny everything.
They claimed to provide a king-size bed, but it was actually just a simple double bed, which you could clearly see. OYO also failed to take any meaningful action.
This kind of treatment is completely unacceptable for a hotel listed under OYO. It’s clear that they disrespect online bookings and try to take extra money from guests upon arrival.
