Review Of Hotel Maurya Kangra

No parking facility and the water was polluted.

Not worth staying in the hotel as we had a bad experience. AC And TV were not functional for a full 2 hours and we had to make a call to the owner. Room was very shabbily maintained. However food was satisfactory. Washroom was also not cleaned. We had to ask for soap and towels. It is very far away from Mandi.

This Hotel is nice but I Am aged 60 years lift not available there.

The location of hotel is good there is no basic things in the room like phone etc bathroom are wet as there is no water wipes in the bathroom .food are good as there is not so good food available in the market.

This hotel is located in Kangra, while advertising itself as in Dhramsala. So don't be confused and double check before booking. Also this hotel do not have much shops near by for lunch or dinner. You have to walk few meters before accessing markets. No room service. No in house phone. No power backup. No in house restaurant. Basically just a single room and nothing else.

Hotel was good and value for money. Staff is also helpful. Only problem is that it doesn't have parking but there is a paid parking in walking distance where they charge Rs40 per day. Overall it is good.

Hotel is near to Kangra Devi Temple. Good Food & service. Rooms are clean. Overall good to stay. No parking area, you have to find parking for your vehicles. Hotel Staff is supportive. Hotel Location is also good. Bus stand is very near, hardly 10 mins from hotel.

Very good location in Kangra near bus stand. I reached in 10mins only and very fine and good clean and clear. When I will go to Kangra to stay in Hotel Maurya. Because I am satisfied in Hotel Maurya. Best off these.

Hotel location is very good but parking is a pain because hotel does not has parking. Breakfast is average as you will get only aloo parathe all the time .. Service is below average as they made AC on instead of blower and we had to shut down the AC and had to be in cold room all the night.

Hotel is very good and staff was very honest. Service was very good. Owner himself indulge with all customer to check about the stay and quality. It's located on the road and easy to reach for food and market.

Location is good for Kangra devi darshan. But its far from bus stand. Hotel is not good. But hotel staff is very friendly. I booked stander ed room for my family. With extra bed for my kids. But hotel authority not given the extra bed. And above all room was Small and full of dust. I think I west my money

I did not like the hotel. Thought the facilities were average, but I thought it was not worth to spend money on it. We had train in late evening. Even though hotel's most room were empty, we were not allowed to stay in room post 12 noon. I have seen leniency by staff of other much better hotels. But that was not with case with this hotel.

Hotel owner doesn't know the basic of hospitality. He was humiliating the family couple by interrogating like CBI.. I have never seen such a terrible inquiry for privacy in my whole travel period as inbound and outbound, it was my mistake to book a such a cheap hotel for my family through makemytrip. I didn't stay there for my booking after such a misbehavior by the hotel manager or owner. I stayed in another hotel inspire of my pre booking. Now I will never book any hotel through makemytrip... And this hotel needs basics classes of hospitality...

No food facility, no nearby hotel, no driver dormitory. In short unless and until you don't have any other option please don't book this. On the other hand in Ankara district you don't have other options also.

Awesome hotel, Awesome staff, Awesome home made food. Home away from home location is good staff is very cooperative helpful value for your money hotel. I will recommend this hotel to everyone coming to Kangra their home made food ans rates are also good. You will enjoy your stay.

The owner Mr Thakur was very friendly and was an excellent host as well as an excellent guide as he has good knowledge of all the happenings in Manali. The hotel food was really good and the service was excellent with moderately good rooms. It is located conveniently and is walkable distance from all major sites to visit. Overall good value for money.

The Room was very Spacious. Bathroom Bedding were Clean & Neat but no real Professional Touch. There was not A SINGLE PLUG & SOCKET FACILITY for even Mobile Charging. There is nothing really to complain or appreciate. We got Very Good Local DHABA FOOD - KAMAL DHABA nearby. The Food was very good & economical.

Hotel Maurya, Kangra is a average budget hotel. It isn't for the tourists of Dharamshala. It is too far from Dharamshala. People who wants to visit famous Bajreshwari Devi Temple should stay here. Location is good. It is on the main road. Bus stand and Temple are about 500 mt from here. Room was average, not clean enough with make my trip's standards. Hotel have not much staff. Only person who was the receptionist, doing every services for tourist and there wasn't a restaurant or kitchen in hotel. So I wouldn't suggest for tourists to stay here.

Location is good near market and temple. But its on road so lots of noises on roadside rooms. Stayed in Delux AC room. When entered in the room it was stinking. After opening door and windows it become slightly better. No intercom, Very small TV with few channels on subscription. Bed and room was clean. Bed is not very comfortable, very thin. Bathroom is big but not very clean. Continuous hot and cold water supply. Staff is gentle and very supportive. No restaurant, but they can make basic food on your order, though we have not ordered any except tea which was served in glass and super sweet though we have instructed to make less sweet. There is a good restaurant few meters away from the hotel Hot Chillies, which serves good and tasty food. Overall its an average hotel just enough for night stay.

Its 800mtrs from the kangra bus stand.rooms are clean and well ventilated.spacious.limited channels on the tata sky tv provided.value for money. didn't have my food at the hotel, so cant say.will definitely stay next time.
