Misleading Room Listing – Not What I Booked

I booked a “Mountain View Room with Private Balcony” through MakeMyTrip. But when I arrived at the property, I was given a room that had no balcony and no mountain view — just a view of their internal lawn, completely enclosed, with zero resemblance to what was shown at the time of booking. On raising this with the hotel staff, I was told that only 4–5 rooms in the entire hotel have an actual mountain view with a balcony, and those had already been given to people who checked in earlier. This is a serious issue – if the rooms aren’t available, they shouldn’t be listed as bookable on MMT. This is clear misinformation from both the platform and the hotel. Since I was traveling with kids and senior citizens after a long 13–14 hour journey, I had no practical option to cancel and shift to another property. The next day, I was moved to a different room, which I chose after they showed it to me. It had some partial mountain view but still did not match what I had paid for. It had a shared open balcony, not a private one, and was exposed to rain frequently — again, not what was promised. The staff on the ground were polite and cooperative, but clearly limited by overbooking and lack of availability. The bottom line: this property does not deliver what’s advertised. Be cautious before booking.

Great experience and nice view....a little bit costly....rooms were clean and staff was cooperative....you can enjoy here with a nice view ....all locations are nearby..but there was jam on that road from 9am - 4pm...so visit accordingly...otherwise great experience...highly recommended...

Nice decent property with extremely courteous and well-mannered staff. Food was also good and service was prompt. Only thing was that last 500 mtrs of road to the hotel has sharp curves so one has to drive carefully.

I had a pleasant stay at the resort. We had booked Spring Suite Mountain View with Balcony. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and the staff was polite and helpful. The resort is pet-friendly, making it easy to travel with your furry companions. The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby market, Bhagsu temple, and the waterfall. Breakfast had a decent variety, and overall, the atmosphere was calm and welcoming. Would definitely consider staying here again

pleasent stay.great location so i just want to inform the hotel resort location is in very prime. the best part is in this once you are going to enter in that you will really get and met with the positive vibes and positive attitude staff, 1) first you will met the good energetic staff which is in front desk. 2) restaurant staff given us welcome drink.. again we got more positivity 3) for the room there is elevator connection that sounds good. 4) wow vibes with the rooms you will see the mountains with the snowie cover. thanks to all staff they have done my great and best stay. next time i want to visit again in this resort highly recommend this resort…
