Great Himalayan Resorts

I spent 2 days here, it is on Bhagsu Road. A very beautiful and peaceful place. The staff is very friendly. Food is also good.

Wonderful Stay Surrounded by Hills! The property is beautiful and surrounded by scenic hills, making it a perfect getaway. The staff was very polite, especially Mr. Nitin, who was extremely humble and courteous. The service was excellent, and the food was absolutely delicious. Rooms and washrooms were neat and clean, which added to our comfortable experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our two-day stay and would highly recommend this property to others!

Our stay at the Great Himalayan Resort was nothing short of exceptional. Nestled amidst serene surroundings, the resort offers breathtaking views, peaceful vibes, and unmatched comfort. From arranging local treks to ensuring our meals were customized to our preferences, their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care made all the difference. The food was delicious and freshly prepared, the service was prompt, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. Whether you’re looking for adventure, quiet reflection, or just quality time with loved ones, this resort is the perfect place to be. Highly recommended – we look forward to visiting again!

Road down to the resort was very risky, you need a 4x4 vehicle and great driving skills otherwise it might seem a difficult task. Secondly property is not maintained well.

I would have straight away given 5 stars to this place and ended my review. One and only drawback of this place is its connectivity to main road. Its really scary and not for new or inexperienced drivers at all. Although the resort owner provides pick and drop from/to main road and also offers to drive your vehicle to main road if not confident to drive on connection road. Also there is no power back up (strange 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️) but thats ok i guess as we faced a single power cut of about 30 mins during our 3 nights stay. Hotel infra: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Food Quality: 5/5 View: 5/5. Summary: Except for that connecting road, all is good. Good for relaxing and having a family time away from all the rush of otherwise busy city.

The stay was indeed wonderful. The view from d resort was absolutely serene. The staff was extremely polite and cordial. The cottage rooms was quite spacious. The only problem was the road leading to the resort from the main road. It was too steep. Other than that everything was on point!

Entrance is not good and need to be upgraded. It is a narrow and sloppy from main road till the resort and that too not concrete or blacktopped. Difficult to go down for large Vehicles like XUV or Carens. Resort is good and very close to nature. Good rooms and food is amazing. Friendly staff. you can also have bonfire 🔥 if required by paying additional charges.

It’s a great location very good staff and owner

I had the loveliest time at the great himalayan resort. The staff was welcoming & really warm. The view from my room was superb and definitely was the highlight of my stay here; the food at the resort is great too (especially their breakfast options. There is a pick up and drop off service provided by the staff which is helpful, as the resort is located down a slope. The location of the resort allows people to escape the bustling noise and have the most relaxing peaceful time at the resort.

Terrible experience it was, roof was leaking, bathroom was dirty and bed was full of pest. It was a horrible experience while staying at great himalayan resort.

Place is great. The reason the visited this place was because of reviews and i was pleased as the view was outstanding. Rooms were decent, food was tasty staff were polite. Market is also nearby about 800 meters. Overall great!

Rooms are neat! Staff is friendly.. most of all the view.it's just crazy valley view.the best in Dharamshala.once you come here you don't find the need to roam around in mcleodganj market.staff was kind enough to pick up and drop from main road . Loved itt!!

Stay was comfortable. Resort is beautiful, view is beautiful, lots of space to trek, relax, meditate, tasty affordable food, staff very professional very hospitable. I had a great experience. Will visit soon!

I was her with my family. The approach road is a 100 meters from road and they provide with pickup and drop service once you call them up. Upon reaching the resort I was flabbergasted with joy. such a beautiful view ..I had booked a cottage and it was soooo pretty. the staff was very helpful everything was smooth. all over stay was perfect!! surely will recommend!!p.s the flowers in the resort valley were 😍.

Hotel is full of insects, reptiles, no proper lighting, can't get out of room after 8pm

We stayed in this hotel for one night. Way to hotel is little scary road to hotel is very narrow. Hotel has a texi for drop you to main road. But when i asked them to drop me at 8 pm they refused. I have to walk to main road which very hard because of road straight up and hard to climb it. Food quality is very poor. They didn't serve fresh breakfast in morning. . Only plus point was they have place where you can sit and relax children can play and we could enjoy mountain views
