Location was good but NO PARKING You have to walk 200 mts onto steep slope for going to zostel We were peacefully watching tv @1 am in cafe and no one was being disturb then also reception guy switched off tv and spoke with rude behaviour

I had a wonderful stay at Zostel Dharamkot. The property is beautiful and peaceful — perfect for a solo traveler or anyone looking to relax in the mountains. The weather during my stay was absolutely amazing, and the overall vibe of the place is chill and welcoming. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and always available if you need anything. One thing I’d suggest for future travelers and the management to note: The nearest parking charges ₹300 per night, which can add up. Also, taxis from the Dharamshala bus stand to Upper Dharamkot typically cost ₹700–₹800. It would be really helpful if Zostel could update this information in their travel advisory so guests can plan better. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely recommend staying here. just plan your commute and parking accordingly.

Poor management and stay - Solo traveller

it was a horrible experience. The management is not welcoming at all. If you are a solo traveller they will shift your room if there is a bigger group coming up. Only visit if you are here for 1-2 stay. It is not managed well for long term guests. Worst Zostel stay I have had and I have stayed at 5 of them.

The place is nicely situated away from the city and the noises. The staff is helpful and accommodating. Their cafe/restaurant is also very nice and food is great. There is also live music performances at night at the rooftop.

Food wasn't good, below average taste, no consistency in taste of same dish ordered previous day. Location is really good. Property is well maintained. Facilities like heater are provided on demand, they don't clearly mention the charges beforehand and charge you at the time of checkout. Service and hospitality is average. Overall not a great option for stay.

I had booked a personal room which appeared clean with the type of interior of the room that they had designed, it had all the facilities. The adjoined cafe also offered good food and drinks although coffee were on the expensive side, I mean they have to make money somewhere, the female barista from Manali is pretty

Had a pleasant experience at Zostel meeting solo travellers and backpackers. It has good connectivity to treks of Triund and Galu Waterfall. Central heaters are not available in rooms, other than that amenities and services are satisfactory and staff is cordial too.
