Zostel Dharamkot

This is my first time at zostel and for me it was so amazing to be here. I met a lot of people over here and had lot of chit chats. Rooms were quite good and even the toilets were neat and clean as per my standards. Played lot of tt with friends and zostel staff and lost all of the matches but won lot of memories. The cafe is pretty good at food, i tried recommendations from manalis aloo and it was great, thanks to ashu for all the recommendations. Other staff at the place was really welcoming and had lot of chit chat with them too. One could try the brownies( not those natural one) and hot chocolate. Try reciting this word to the staff and see if they get you pbm, glm, it didn't worked for me but sounded cool to me. If you want to have a time of your own, give this a try. Loved the view from the cafe and room.

I had a wonderful stay at Zostel Dharamkot. The property is beautiful and peaceful — perfect for a solo traveler or anyone looking to relax in the mountains. The weather during my stay was absolutely amazing, and the overall vibe of the place is chill and welcoming. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and always available if you need anything. One thing I’d suggest for future travelers and the management to note: The nearest parking charges ₹300 per night, which can add up. Also, taxis from the Dharamshala bus stand to Upper Dharamkot typically cost ₹700–₹800. It would be really helpful if Zostel could update this information in their travel advisory so guests can plan better. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely recommend staying here. just plan your commute and parking accordingly.

I had booked a personal room which appeared clean with the type of interior of the room that they had designed, it had all the facilities. The adjoined cafe also offered good food and drinks although coffee were on the expensive side, I mean they have to make money somewhere, the female barista from Manali is pretty

Had a pleasant experience at Zostel meeting solo travellers and backpackers. It has good connectivity to treks of Triund and Galu Waterfall. Central heaters are not available in rooms, other than that amenities and services are satisfactory and staff is cordial too.

The place is nicely situated away from the city and the noises. The staff is helpful and accommodating. Their cafe/restaurant is also very nice and food is great. There is also live music performances at night at the rooftop.

I really enjoyed my stay at this property. The on-site cafe was great, and the views were amazing. Plus, there was a fantastic cafe nearby called Mysore Cafe –definitely a highlight!

Very clean rooms, very clean washrooms. We stayed in a 4 bed room. The staff is friendly. Fuss free checkin.
