I stayed at Hotel Genista Inn recently and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the staff upgraded my room upon arrival, which was a pleasant surprise, and the food quality was commendable. However, several issues significantly impacted my stay.The upgraded room had technical problems: the air conditioning and refrigerator were not working. Despite multiple complaints, it took repeated follow-ups for the staff to address these issues, which was inconvenient. Additionally, I ordered lemon tea but was served black tea. When I pointed out the mistake, the staff insisted I pay for the incorrect order and continued to bring it up throughout my stay, even during checkout. This behavior felt unprofessional and left a poor impression.While the hotel has potential with its good food and initial gestures like the room upgrade, the technical failures and unprofessional handling of service issues need improvement. I hope the management addresses these concerns to enhance future guest experiences.
