Very good hotel close to ghats

Not value for money
familyPaid 20000 per room per day for two days, had issues which i discussed with night shift receptionist and informed him to ask their duty manager / foam / gm or any senior to speak to me. However, till i checked out no one had courtesy to check. Strongly recommend we get better place for the price we paid. One good part is location.

Well located hotel with poor service standards.
familyHotel location is good and close to major religious attractions like kashi vishwanath dham and ghats. Rooms are neat and well maintained. But service standards are very average and lack professionalism. Main restaurant manager is good in his intentions but unable to do anything due to lack of support staff. Service is lacklusture and staff need appropriate training. It feels like management is cutting too much on cost. If you are inclined to stay close to mandir and can tolerate poor hospitality, then you can consider this hotel in view of its location. But if you are a person who values hospitality and expect good gesture, then this is not a place for you as the services are not upto the mark in view of its price tag.

A brand new oasis in banaras
I came to banaras on this occasion for work in bhu and found the dolphin grand hotel within 15 min from bhu, 5 min from the ghats and 10 min from the kashi vishwanath mandir. The hotel is very unassuming from the outside, with an underground parking, but from the inside it’s brand new, tastefully designed and well built. From the reception to the restaurant and lifts on the ground floor to my clean, spacious, and relatively quiet room with double glazed windows to avoid the street noise, well running ac, and clean and spacious bathroom. The room is comparable to the taj vivanta i stayed in recently in kolkata. The price per night at rs 8500 is higher than both the kolkata vivanta (7500) as well as the mumbai marriott (7000. Food at the restaurant could be improved, but i didn’t have more than 1 breakfast there.

Beautiful rooms with an amazing shower! nice contemporary furniture, for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend this hotel as its also close to kashi temple and ghaats.

New hotel with great amenities
Spent two days. Hotel is new with great room and bathroom. Non slip shower mat, instant hot water and safe and coffee market in room. Staff was extremely friendly and took care of my father. Udipi restaurant with tasty southern food. Easy availability of autos and main chats and temples are about ten minutes away. All in all a great stay

Great hospitality! neat and clean rooms taking care of all the necessaities. Location is in the heart of the city. Breakfast options need to be revisited but otherwise, the food was good. Overall, a very pleasant and memorable stay.
