Review Of Ghonday Village Resort

We reached the Resort at night and was welcomed by hot tea which tasted very good. The entire resort deserves a 4 star rating. The decor was great which artefacts and paintings well done. The furniture is topclass and the room was wonderfull

We had booked 5 kanchenjunga facing super deluxe rooms for our stay. I had got in touch with them prior to our stay over whatsapp and response was prompt, courteous and helpful. This was my second visit to this property and i have been surprised each time with their courtesy, hospitality, ability to cater to all our needs, at times going above and beyond their abilities. This is a must visit place for families, group or if you are looking for a quiet getaway. You will get mesmerising views of mt. Kanchenjunga from the rooms as well as from the lawn. They also arrange for bonfire and barbecue (needs to be notified earlier) and can also help you with transport arrangements. Overall a must visit place and the property is beautiful and very well maintained.

Ghonday village resort is a beautiful property in kaluk, it gives a clear view to kanchenjunga. The room we had taken had a balcony straight from kanchenjunga. It had a terrace like area outside the hotel where you can sit and enjoy the magnificent view of the mountains. The interior in the reception area was pretty. We also ordered food for dinner, it was delicious.

Totally enjoyed our stay here. Very well kept property with great stuff. Looking forward to visit again.

It was awesome in one word. The location is fantastic and the best place in Kaluk. rooms are super clean amd you will get spectacular view from your room. They have a small but beautiful green lawn where you can sit under the umbrella and have some tea or coffee and sped quality time. My children really enjoyed this place. Food was very good. I wish to visit again for 2- 3 nights.

If you want to enjoy nature at its purest form then you should stay here for at least 3 nights. This property is so clean and well maintained that you will fall in love with this place immediately. Breathtaking view of Kanchenjunga from the room and the serenity surrounds the resort will rejuvenate you immediately. Food quality is good and you will get all the varieties …and punctuality is at top notch in terms of service..Balcony of the super deluxe rooms are the USP of this resort..it is like dream balcony.

Stayed in ghonday resort for just one night in last week of september. It was the second day of sunshine after a week of rains. There was clear view of kanchenjunga from the room itself from dawn till 7 am when i left for siliguri. Most rooms in the resort have great view of kanchenjunga and other peaks. The rooms are also comfortable, the resort well maintained and service is excellent

Location was good, remote, very close to nature. On the second day, there was an issue with the light of the washroom, the hotel people upgraded my stay by providing a premium room. The room had a balcony from where we could see the kanchenjungha peaks. It was a great experience. Food was amazing. Room service and house keeping was top notch. Highly recommended.

The property is beautifully maintained with plants & flowers. The rooms offer amazing of kanchenjunga range if the weather is good. The hospitality of the staff is commendable. They also offer rooms for drivers in case someone needs. Food is completely home made & tastes good. Overall a very relaxing experience!

We stayed here for two nights in march 2022. The property is located about 3 km from the rinchenpong monastery. The road leading to the resort is steep down from the main road, and road condition was not good. The property is beautiful, to say the least. We were unlucky not to have a view of the kanchenjungha due to bad weather but was mesmerized by the garden, and the rhododendron bloom around it. The food was good and the staff were great.

Food quality was very average and price was too high. Also room size is very small compare to price

Location is very nice. Food item is also good, if some of common prices can be down that will be bonus. Food price is little bit expensive

This property is located at Kaluk in front of the Himalayan range. Food quality, staff service was best. This property can be reached in shared service vehicle in a much cheaper price from Siliguri only if someone reaches Jorethang by 12-1 pm. This resort has got a plenty of plants which are very rare to see and making the place an exotic one! We are again willing to visit this resort!

Excellent property with picturesque landscape, well maintained garden, beautiful interiors and courteous staffs. Their driver helped us to catch our flight in time inspite of heavy traffic. Moreover their owner himself followed up regarding a matter even after we came back home. So this property is highly recommended for vacation trip.
