Location is excellent right inside devbag peninsula. Food is average to ok. Homemade traditional and local. Don't expect too much. Missing variety in breakfast, lunch. If you are vegetarian, head to rajbhog or chimni cafe at a visa nil a nearby. Non-veg folks should head to tamhankar's nearby. Facility needs an upgrade. Ac was not working bathroom taps, mirrors, cloth drying tables were all rusted, worn-out and old. There is scope to improve on hygiene. Flies and mosquitoes abound as the place is on the beach. Nonetheless they should take care. P. S. Owner called to say if we had booked directly, than we would have saved 40-50% compared to makemytrip.

I had a nice experience and the hotel service is better than others as per Tarkarli standards. Only issue I felt was no network or wifi but that's okay if u want an away from the world experience.

Nobody can imagine that even after booking confirmation there can be a situation when hotel staff says that there is no room booked in your name here. VERY STRANGE & WEIRD. Though after 1 hour of discussion with the management they agreed to accommodate us in the nearby hotel. Hotel staff was polite and works on the instructions of Mumbai office for online bookings who goofed up here. Please be prepared for this adventure when there is no network coverage available.
