Review Of Elephanta Forest Resort

Rooms were spacious but when someone talk in his/her room other person staying at nearby room can hear everything clearly, its so embarrassing, food quality is very simple, delicious. Food variation is very limited. Number of food item should be increased so that everybody could enjoy their vacation. Campus of the resort should be well maintained regularly. Everyday campus cleaning is needed. Pond water is stagnant, so it can breed harmful mosquitoes. Pond should be cleaned.

Very dirty place, rooms are not maintained, service is very bad, choice for food not available, bed cover and blankets are very dirty, over all very bad experience.

Your site reflects wrong indoor photography of different bed of no and size as well

Greenery which is eye candy for urban people. Tasty home made food and helpful staff.

Manager and hotel boys are not cooperating. Food not good. Poor maintained rooms. Horrible experience.

Resort lodging and food terrify is too higher than overall facilities and services.

It is not a jungle resort in actual word. It is in a village. There is no menu card of food items. They charge excessively in breakfast and in tribal dances. But room quality and service is satisfactory.

Elephanta Forest Resort - as the name implies with, seems to be a very good resort - But in practical scenario, it is just the opposite: A horrible experience, we've undergone for the night we stayed there The only good thing about the resort we can say is the service - which the staff tried their best to maintain, but in vain Location-wise the resort in somewhat at a remote location - interior to the place named as Murti. We stayed there for 1 night with a very bad experience. 2 rooms allotted to us were very dirty, furniture not cleaned as well, Light very poor as usual, No television, no generator, No AquaGuard for drinking water - nothing. On request, you cannot even get packaged Mineral Water as we had reached there in the late evening approx 8. 00pm and they don't keep stocks in hand. Somehow the manager brooked 2 Nos of packaged drinking water bottles from a fellow tourist which served our purpose for the night. The total staff strength at that time was only 4-persons for the whole resort. They are all - for service, for cooking food, for keeping the resort clean, etc. Food quality is however good, but with limited options and we had somehow managed with whatever it was The owner of the resort should indulge immediately about the problems and do some good maintenance work to revive the resort, if interested. The locks for the rooms provided to us were broken as well. In my whole life-time I've never seen such a misery in a resort. Now, coming to price - they are taking the full rent of the rooms (there they are not negotiating with and hence, MMT should not carry on their contract with such a disastrous resort However, the next day morning, we could notice that there was good rooms which they could have given us, as there were no guests for that particular beaded room. But, here, it seems that the communication is not proper from the owner as well. The resort is built in quite a large area, but later it seems that there is no care at all. Anyhow, I would not recommend this resort to any of the fellow tourists . Please be careful.

The hotel is in good location. But no facelities at all. There is no AQUA GUARD. Water is supplied from local supply. No TV IN the rooms. Tube light is not glowing. After requesting a lot they have provided me a CFL. Bathroom is horrible & dirty. Instantly I have informed MMT HELPLINE. They have put me on hold for 10 /12 MTs. But did not done anything. Again I called them. But no response. After that we tried to check out. But as it was at about 7. 30 we passed the night in lounge. Early morning

Best place to stay in the woods. Bit away from all spots. But hotel will arrange everything without any extra fare. Try to stay in the wooden cottages. We booked two rooms and got those. They are connected with a balcony. Good staying.

Room was good, location is also good. Food was delicious. Staff was very helpful.. On request they arrange adibasi dance.. Also jungle safari for us. We faced only one problem of dishes.. In which they served food was dirty.

Overall good experience. Location is good. Food is good. Behaviour of the staff are good. The resort is five minutes away from river Murti. The resort has energy back up. We stayed here for 3 days. Need to improve room quality and room service.

I enjoyed staying their, everything wss good except location. The staff were helpful and they have helped a lot with the guidance how and where to travel within that area. Overall it is value for money except the location is outside.

Just beside murti river, a total jungle feeling inside the resort. That is the best thing to enjoy. If you love solitude amidst greeneries, choose this resort. Staff is really well behaved and food is also good. They arrange for jungle bookings and all. Main attraction is bathing at the murti river. Nice experience overall.

Location is good .. Thrilling nights beside river and jungle. Peacocks are hear and there .. Out side the compound. All the stuffs arevery good well mannered and professional. But property needs a major renovation. Over all it was a good stay ..

The stay was very pleasant. Rooms are OK but bathrooms need much maintenance. And cleanliness should be given utmost priority both rooms and gardens. Food was very good. The staff need special mention ... Very helpful and cooperative ...

Location : A bit remote area, near Murti river, Dakshin Dhupjhora. Rooms: Spacious with a balcony. But cleanliness should be prioritized. Service : The title actually describes the quality of service. Awesome courteous staff. Generous behaviour is the USP of this resort. Food : In terms of food I bet you will never miss your home. Awesome delicious foods the prepare. I have tried Bamboo chicken 1st time in my life here. Final Verdict : Go for it.. Value for money.

The stay was horrible as whole night we could not sleep because you could hear what your next room people are doing even there snoring also. If you contact the hotel people there reply is what can we do. I won't be staying again here or would advice anyone
