I had a very disappointing experience during my recent two-night stay at this hotel in Udaipur. Right from the moment we arrived, things were poorly managed. We reached around 9 a.m. to check if early check-in was possible, but there was no one at the reception, and our calls went unanswered. The person in charge of the reception was actually sleeping in a room right next to the reception area. When we knocked on his door, he didn’t even come out to speak with us — he just responded rudely from inside the room, saying early check-in wasn’t available. That was a very unprofessional first impression.
Things only got worse after that. After spending one night at the property, we were suddenly informed that we had to move to their other property due to a plumbing issue. While such problems can happen, the way it was handled showed a complete lack of coordination and customer care. The staff themselves seemed confused — no one clearly knew when or how the move was supposed to happen. Initially, we were told to move our own luggage, and only later did they decide to help. The entire process was chaotic and unnecessarily stressful.
Instead of enjoying our trip, we ended up wasting hours dealing with confusion and inconvenience caused by the hotel’s poor communication and unprofessional behavior. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
