When you take a break and plan a weekend vacation with family, you expect the property, place and space to be managed & run well, neat & clean, and of-course a memorable experience overall. But it turned out to be otherwise in the case of atmaveda and, also, when you shell out over rs. 20k + for two rooms (with meals, etc. ) for one day & night stay. You don't expect to find multiple webs & spiders in your washroom, dampness spread throughout the room, a semi-temporary set up for lunch and dinner, messed up games room, multiple wear & tear. Throughout the property, unclean swimming pool, average food spread and taste, flies falling over utensils and food items, etc. The only memory, which i would have is that the property is set at a beautiful, serene river bank. The staff is soft-spoken and helpful in the ways possible or told or trained. But the big question is that are these the enough points/attractions, which would be expected from such a resort retreat ? it's a definite no from my side. Probably, the owners of this property never visit or check on the condition of the rooms, recreation facilities, eating area and overall property or they are not bothered. T's been left to take care on its own. It's surprising that how the indian hospitality is shaping in the last few years. The stay/ room rates would only go up in the name of location, views, etc. But the quality of stay, value of amenities offered, infrastructure does not match up to its standard. And we indian customers keep ignoring it and accept it. My rating is 2. 5 stars. Keeping it 2 because make my trip doesn't have the option.
