Review Of ANNAI CELESTIAL RESORTS

The property is located near the sea with good ambience and service.

We had an overall pleasant stay at the property. Location- It's location is on the kovalam beach road which is right in front of the beach. But you can't see the beach from your hotel room because of the orientation of rooms. also that road is less accessible to public transport, so you have to pay extra to reach there. It is ~1km from the temple, to which you will get feeder services but from 9am till 8pm else you will have to walk. This property is actually far from the chief attractions and restaurants as compared to other properties.We had to walk multiple times for temple visit,early breakfast and dinner which was a bit tiring. Food- Ala carte food was good, however their breakfast was poor. They had decent options but their quality wasn't up to the mark. Amenities - the swimming pool is small, gym is fine. Wifi services are good. Staff- staff is really courteous and helpful. We even had a birthday celebration for which they decorated our room really well. Rooms- Deluxe rooms are spacious,feel premium and cleanliness top notch. Note: When we went the property was under renovation, which put us off as we couldn't use it as a resort. We had to stay in our rooms.Dont confuse this with annai resorts and spa as it is a bigger and more expensive property.

Rooms are spacious, nice facilities. Only negative point is slope from main entry gate to reception. Mainly for elder people its difficult to walk on such slope.

The property is old but it seems whole hotel is getting renovated.50% rooms are under renovation and we stayed in a renovated room.Rooms are spacious and nice.Bathroom is nice but needs some additional fittings.Hope regular maintenance of the hotel is done to avoid any degradation in long run.The location is great and its neat. With the price I paid, I consider it a best deal. Overall we had a comfortable and great stay

Construction is going on so most of the amenities are unavailable. Hot water was unavailable because of some pipes damage and so.

There are two reviews to this property. They vary completely. The reception, housekeeping and other general staff and amenities are top tier. The rooms are spacious, clean and filled with good amenities. The construction activity on the nearby wing and the lack of gym was a slight inconvenience but not major. The restaurant and room service was a disaster to say the least. They have flies roaming in the restaurant like they own the place. Repeated escalations did nothing. The staff do not know how to handle rush hour service, take orders properly and general manners while dealing with residents of a prime resort they claim to be. The taste of food is good but the service and hygiene of seating arrangement was absolutely below par.

For example, a guest mentioned that the rooms were not clean, necessitating a room change, and that hot water was only available after several hours.  4. Instances include lack of assistance with luggage, poor response to guest complaints, and overall indifferent attitudes. One reviewer noted that staff service was very disappointing, with no help whatsoever with heavy bags despite tipping.  5. Overpriced for the Quality Offered Many guests feel that the resort does not offer value for money. Despite its prime location, the quality of rooms, services, and amenities does not justify the high prices charged. A guest commented that the hotel is far from a 4-star property and does not even meet 3-star standards overall. 

1. Location is good. Near sea front 2. Food was satisfactory 3. Amenities were horrible. There was construction activity ongoing (which was not mentioned at the time of booking). Lots of noise and dust. 4. Room AC was not working, apparently the filters were chocked with dust. 5. Fittings in bathroom were broken

Rooms were neat and well maintained. My son enjoyed his stay there especially with the pool.

Some parts of the property are under renovation, and there is lots of noise all around with construction material scattered around. Housekeeping service is below average. Attached toilet has stinking smell. It should be mentioned while booking that a construction is going on so one wouldn't book. The location is good. Breakfast also needs to include more options.

Every thing is very good . Maintanence receiving is good. Location is good. Kitchen and bar is also good

The place was under renovation. It was not notified earlier. Everywhere construction material was spread. It was not even safe to use swimming pool

Property photos are all wrong, entire garden and half of the building is still under construction Room photos are also different, windows are dirty obstructing the views, bathrooms are dirty, toilet seats are stained, one of the room AC wasn't working.
