Poor Stay

My family and I visited this property and stayed in the private pool room. We checked in on a rainy afternoon and received a warm welcome — the staff kindly helped us with our luggage and provided umbrellas, which was much appreciated. However, the overall maintenance of the property and room did not meet expectations. The bathroom was quite wet when we arrived and appeared poorly maintained, with tiles that had lost their original color. Towels and bedsheets were worn and stained, which was disappointing for the price paid. The private pool was not very clean and had some dead mosquitoes, small insects and may be algae particles. Room amenities were minimal — only an electric kettle, a couple of cups, and two bottles of water, with no tea, coffee, or sugar sachets provided. (Of course it has AC and TV, and the bathroom has geiser, bath soaps, shampoo etc) The dining area was average, and while the hospitality was decent, the overall experience didn’t justify the tariff. Due to the rain, the outdoor area became muddy, making it difficult to step out or explore the surroundings. This left us confined to the room for most of the day. We checked same evening, as we felt quite dissatisfied as there was very little to do within or around the property. It was hard to survive inside the room too with mosquito warming.

Best choice for a family outing

We stayed here for a weekend. It was a wonderful experience. The hosts are really amazing people. Felt at home. The ambience is so natural and additional fun like trekking and boat was there. Kids enjoyed a lot. Would like to visit again

Extremely overpriced property

Extremely Over priced with respect to location and facilities. This property is located at a remote place in Trivandrum and where land value is much cheaper comparatively . With respect to property and facilities it’s an over priced property. I m from Trivandrum and frequent traveller, compared to other resorts I visited my observations are : Overall value for money: 3 / 10 Location and ambience of property: 2 / 10 Room with respect to price : 6 / 10 Food - quality and quality : 7 / 10 Food with respect to price : 5 / 10 Cleanliness of Room and pool : 9/10. The nearby attraction is ponmudi hill station but considering this property as nearest location to ponmudi is not worth the cost. Pros : Good and neat room and it has small garden Private pool is really good and water quality is good as well.

The homestay is exceptional. Very clean. The yard is beautiful gardes and huge water feature. The food is delicious. There is a lot of care put into the guests here. Don't hesitate to stay here.

Good Stay

It's situated at a calm place in a village. Have a small park and pond available for kids. We just stayed one night there. Better for people who stay longer. Rooms are neat and clean. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast was good.

Plea-sent stay and good experience

We had a great stay here. We came with an year old baby and wanted to stay away from the city. The staff and the owners were ever so helpful and it’s a well maintained place. We stayed three nights and days and everyone was very courteous. The ambience was awesome and keep up the good work folks! the only con we had was the room cleaning service wasn’t available everyday and probably only on request if the room was pretty dirty or something to do with homestay not sure. But if that could be facilitated probably there would be no neg remark to be quoted at all!

From iiser to stay is 28 km. it is showing 10. 5 km. We have to spend rupees just for conveyance. It is terrible experience, however home stay was ok but again lack of transport facility is big and challenging concern

Sir, when you contact me to enquire about your booking I told you that this property is 28km from Trivandrum Central and 23km from iiser.And its not easy to travel from here to iiser and only option is taxi and they will charge around 1200. Even I offered full refund on your cancellation if the booking is mistakenly made.But you told no other hotels vacant near and so continuing with same option , even we arrange room for early check-in by blocking our room. But when you make such low score it affect property only. Thank you for staying with us

Unique experience

We ( 3 couples) stayed at amritham holidays for one night. Property was superb, lot of greenery and fruit trees. Located around 1. 5 km from city center. Rooms are excellent, well furnished, with wifi and smart tv and cable network. We were bit unhappy with food taste ( we are pure vegetarian. Service was excellent, the care taker mr. Jills was very cooperative and helpful.

Sir, we have only private in-room pool in our property which you have never booked and seen. And no common swimming pool in our property.what you seen is not swimming pool .Its just a Intex tank for collecting water for our pond. But when you write swimming pool is not good condition, others will think that's about our private pool villa.So requesting you to make it clear.
