Review Of Agyaat Vaas Homestay | Rooms & Guided Treks

Reaching there was a pain, had to snow trek for around 3 km but the hotel is good, the atmosphere is awesome. The staff was very helpful. I had a wonderful stay.

We, group of 5 visited Agyaat Vaas recently and must say that it was overall a very good stay with little here and there but genuine problems. Since there was snowfall happened a week prior we had to trek to the hotel for around 3 km and must say it was awesome experience at least for adventure seeker like me. We enjoyed the journey even sometimes we fell down it was worth reaching there. Little bit water problem is there but its understood as its difficult to manage high up there. Throughout Umesh from the staff helped us a lot. From bringing water, helping with our luggage from down and he was just a call away. He is always ready to help. We visited Hatu temple and Hatu peak next day and we enjoyed the snow a lot.

Stay was amazing. I really enjoyed with my friends.

Hotel location is good but you need to be a good driver to reach this place.

The stay was good. The location of the property is very difficult to access. To access the location you need to be a very good driver. The property is good to stay for families with kids above 6 years. I would like to recommend this property.

The service provided by Agyaat Vaas was too good, food was awesome, bonfire and music was good. The person Sunil helper took good care of us and he was very polite, told us everything about the area. Sunil was a very good person and cooperating too. Got us everything on time, looked after cleanliness. The other person, who took us for trekking was also very polite nod helpful. Free trekking was provided by the hotel to peak which was very adventures overall the trip was up to the mark nod adventures too. Will suggest everyone to go here once. Kindly look after the road system. It is very disturbed.

Great place to stay. Better than expected. Well maintained cottages. Good food and services. Staff was very helpful. Intercom is needed to communicate with the staff. Everything else was perfectly placed. If anyone wants to find himself herself must visit this place. You can feel the voice of silence here. It's a real any at visa.

Reached at no road from Manali almost late evening. Risky and slippery road. Manager was not available. Nobody to tell us that we are standing in front of the most horrible resort in India. Owners changed within half an hour. Firstly it was old man then young man both incapable of running a resort. They give super stupid excuses of nature amidst resort. My foot. Dirty room. Dirty linen. No towel no water. Room full of mud and leakage of washroom. Dirty bucket. Washbasin on vibrating mode. Thanks to lord who made us reach there and then took us out very next day our of that nightmare.
Most horrible experience. If u want to burn your money then go ahead because wasting here will give u more depression. Paid for two nights. The night we checked in was twelve hours of a nightmare. Woke up n couldn't use that dirty toilet n checked out. The owner father n son duo showed they are doing mercy by letting us stay. To hell with this dirty room dirty linen dirty and risky road leading to the dirtiest place ever encountered. My sympathy with all those who have booked for coming days. God helps u. Money wasted but the trauma made me so against these nature resorts. Yuck is the word and hell is the feeling.

A must visit location throughout the year. Food . Staff . View everything is so good and refreshing . (Imp. Note . Don't drink (too much and drive in the last 3-4 km stretch its very narrow road there). It was one of my best trip . Staying in Agyaatvaas (thanks to Dev, sunil & pawan, these guys were very helpful and cooperating

It's an amazing place with perfect environment and natural beauty to please your eyes and soul. Big rooms and comfortable beds to get nice sleep in chilly nights. One of the best places where you can have your peace and isolation from crowd. Only birds and trees around you. :)

The resort is at a secluded place ... The drive is too adventurous to say the least. Last 400 is breathtaking slope and need some skills to reach the resort. But it will be a different experience as compared to hustling bustling hill stations these days.

You have to travel about 6km on single road from Shimla -narkanda highway. It took us more than 4hrs just to travel 6 km. As there is a temple there. There is huge rush of local people .. Especially on sunday .. So avoid going there on sunday or you will have to suffer ..

Agyaat Vass is a nice place and has hospitable host in Mr. Chauhan. It seems this property had existed for sometime, however is being refurbished (Jun 2017) with new rooms. The rooms seems neat and clean with smell of fresh wood. It does offer some interesting view of valley down below. We happen to stay in a Cottage - Cottage are duplex have 2 - double beds on each floor. The bathrooms are neat and clean, you get fresh towels and soaps. However one downside was that there is no hot water in the bathroom. Though the resort makes up for it with hot water bucket when needed. When we visited the cottages had not room heaters - at times it gets hot and unless a working room heating mechanism it might become a bit challenging. Though each cottage is equipped with Water heating kettle. Few cottages offer good view and good sit-out outside. Small things such as floor-mat, bathroom-mat should be easily addressed without much expense - helps to keep room clean and dry when it rains. The common restaurant is nice. Has a TV with DTH connection. Has Wi-Fi. Food is tasty though expensive (Dal - Rs. 200/-, Chapati - Rs. 40/) - however this is generally the price in most resorts in this part of the HP of this standard. Agyaat Vaas should address two things immediately: 1. Movement within the resort - is not meant of very old and disabled. 2. Approach road! - It's on the same approach road as Hatu Peak - this road is not recommended for driving for an untrained driver. Last 400 meters are even more challenging. Agyaat vaas should offer driver facility or pick-up from the bottom of the hillock. (I must mention that I was immediately offered help when I could drive no more on the last 400 m).

Marvel of this place is in its location, and the young humble staff owner has managed at this place. A tip for other travellers is ,this is an isolated place a midst of jungle so its better to check out with ones taste before choosing this place, you wont get modern world amenities but you,ll definitely be lost in raw nature.
