Review Of AAR ROYAL RESIDENCY

In standard room, the commode flush was leaking. Upon complaining to the reception, am questioned as to why did we use it? He meant that all checks should have been done before use and if anything was not in order, have to raise flag. Fail to understand the logic as before allocating a room, the Hotel has to check of its orderliness & cleanliness. Once room is allotted, they cannot expect the guests to not complain and adjust. The rooms has few windows with transparent glass and blinders/ curtains are missing. The geyser has water leakage. It is quite dangerous but seems housekeeping/.hotel maintainence are least bothered to repair the leakage. The hotel doesn't have their own restaurant. Order could come from Hotel which is non-hindu located in same building. So for SankaranKovil temple visitors and devotees, this could be a point of concern! The parking is limited. SankaranKovil is approx 1Km away by drive.

Stayed here in the Deluxe Room for one night for our visit to Sankarankoil. For the price they ask, the room is absolutely horrible. Lights are very dim, so old people especially can't see around properly. The shower does not work at all, AC is spilling in the room itself drop by drop. The fan makes so much noise that you can't sleep. They do not provide kettle and the shower gel and shampoo are diluted and bad. It has no value for how much they charge for a room. I will get better rooms even in Chennai for lesser price than them. Please look into other hotels and give this a skip

Location perfect, but cleanliness and room service needs lot of improvement to make it a great property. No restaurant and make life difficult to get even morning coffee!

Actually we didn't stay at the hotel so we'd like the money to be refunded

Great service by the staff. Hassle-free check-in, the room was well prepared. Water was provided, towel was provided. Next-day check out also was hassle-free. Support from the staff was commendable.

Hotel premises was good but rooms are not good. No water in bathroom power cut no power backup no room service no bathroom soaps.

I have booked and paid, when we reached the hotel, they said we have no book and refused to give the room, after showing the confirmation they told you have booked after we closed booking, it looks they have offered the room to some one as we arrived bit later, after multiple discussion they have arranged the room,

Room service and costumer handling was not good. We requested water they did not provide. For driver room facilities not available

There was only one towel was given for two people. There was no window curtain, privacy and sunlight were wanting. There was no stool in the bath room to sit and take bath. Very inconvenient.

Lights and plugs weren't working properly. We booked two rooms at the same price category. One room was somehow decent but ac wasn't working properly. The other room had a stinky smoke smell and bad lighting.

Location is easily accessible to temple, maintaince worst no rails in bathroom for hanging dress, no cleaniness, water given in plastic is not appealing could be used in glass, coconut oil is pure and good.

Staffs are good. Property is good to stay. No restaurants available. Overall satisfactory. Watter bottle no provided. Room. Not cleaned on daily basis.
