Mr Abbas Bhai is really a gentleman.Me and my son stayed in his Spice Cottage Homestay for two days.It is really a good experience with his gentle behaviour,neat and clean room with all modern amenities,his nice coffee.He is a retired teacher,so as he nurtured his tender students,so to the guest.Really overwhelmed.Suggest all to his homestay without any hesitation.

This is perfect for the family and we stayed on the 2nd floor. The rooms are newly renovated, neat and clean. There is plenty of space in front of the room. The owner is very humble and he is very humble and caring. He called multiple times and checked how the travel was and was very knowledgeable on routes. All sight seeing trips he got very good jeep travel contacts who are very caring and excellent driving. I feel that i stayed in my relatives home and travelled on my friend's jeep for local visits. He guided me for all the local trips and actually I don't have enough time to cover all the places, so I'll definitely revisit and only stay here (spice cottage) and explore thekkady. He called the next day of check out to ensure reached home safely which I never saw any of the stays do.

Spice cottage is at perfect location, everything was very nearby, food we did not try but the tea was superb. The care taker was very good, very helpful and is available anytime at a call. He helped us many places for all the safaris, elephant ride and even massage with good discounts. I will highly recommend this place for a budget friendly stay
