We had a peaceful and happy stay at horn-bill home stay. I must say that homestay owner family jamal sir and his wife including their children took care of us very well with their pleasant nature and care taking. Jamal sir will suggest you how to plan the day and cover the maximum places and he also suggest good routes. Coming to the food they serve you, it's is homely food which will be tasty and does not harm you. Coffee will be really superb. Next i would like to add few comments about the jeep driver wahid which jamal sir will suggest you for the off road drive. Wahid is like a brother to me now. He behaves so kindly with the guest and he takes you to all mountain peaks in jeep off road. He was so patient enough till the guest takes all photos and come back to the jeep. I should also appreciate his photography skills, he took photos our family in all angles. He is also like a guide. He takes to the maximum places during the off road drive. He took us to the hidden spot - river view spot which i doubt any other driver will take you there. Off road drive was very adventurous and we enjoyed thoroughly with his off road driving skills. Overall i would like to rate 5 for horn-bill homestay @ thekkady. 5 for cleanliness. 5 for the room spaciousness. 5 for the hygiene. 5 for the food. 5 for overall building. Also i should mention the bed size is good enough for a family of 3 (2 adult and 1 kid. Thank you jamal sir and family for making our stay peaceful and joyful.

It’s a great place to stay. It was the best experience staying there. Location is very beautiful and close to nature. This place is very well maintained. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. We loved the ambience
