The location is in close proximity to the city center, the owner Ben is very humble, good spacious rooms, we stayed just for a night , however felt very welcoming. I would surely recommend

Location is 3km far from city. So plan accordingly

We three went there for one night stay and took two rooms. The rooms were very neat, clean and spacious. At the same time some minor difficulties we have faced as mentioned below: In one room hot water was not available. As the climate was cold and the owner was out of the property we were forced to take hot water from the common veranda during night. There were no good restaurants nearby and also the property owner never asked us about the food requirements/arrangements It was difficult to get food by walking through steep areas along with our old mother at night. Car parking was difficult as there was construction going on which was not mentioned anywhere. Property is situated in a little bit congested area. Periyar Tiger Reserve is very nearby and property owner was very supportive.

Wonderful homestay with exceptional hospitality. Connected with frequent bus service to kumily town for only rs 10 per ticket. Mr been is the noblest and warmest host, taking personal interest in welcoming his guests. There is another lovely, polite girl caretaker who speaks english.

Awesome stay with balcony and well maintained common area access with drinking water hot and cold. Hospitality was very good and room service available. Breakfast and dinner will provide if you need. Worth for money and recommended one.

Wonderful experience. Owner is very cooperative and this property is neat and clean .Lot of greenery and staff is cooperative.

The property itself was maintained clean and tidy. The rooms were large enough for two people to sleep comfortably. Dinner was also provided by the host which was homely and delicious. The host was prompt to call us in the morning itself on the arrival time and he showed a tour of his plantation too.

Perfect place to stay in thekkady. Great host he was so welcoming and provide us whateva we need specially we are north indians so host provide us north indian breakfast on demand that’s so sweet of him. Just go for it

Not great - had a terrible experience - the host is a complete dupe - interested in only selling his spices.
