This homestay is located far away from the Thekkady and also from the main road. The road going to this homestay is small, if one book this homestay, then they have to book dormitory for driver by paying extra money, as.this homestay doesn't provide any temporary accommodation for driver and other hotel charged Rs 100 for parcel food to this homestay , not worth to book this homestay because of it's rent, facility for driver and it's location

Amazing home stay property amidst a beautiful garden located 7kms from town but easily accessible via local autos.. We stayed here for a night and availed their own jeep safari the next day early in the morning. Both husband n wife manage this property very well maintained, guided us throughout. Highly recommend this home stay for families.

We had a pleasant experience from the caretakers of the homestay. They were very cordial and welcoming. The location was ideal for our purpose. Ameneties and services were great. Overall I recommend the place to future visitors to the area.

Great stay. The owner(mr. Dexter) was very courteous. He gave us all necessary information for sightseeing like - authentic spice garden visit, kathakali & martial art show tickets etc. He even suggested us good veg restaurant. Rooms were spacious & clean. We had our own car so commute was also very easy & parking available in stay. Highly recommended.

Propery is privately owned and very well maintained. You will feel homely here with kind heart-ed support from the owner. Spacious rooms are well supported by comfortable interiors. Highly recommended for the family. We would like to express our heartily thanks to uncle and aunty.

A great place to stay, We took 2 rooms for group of 5 people. Rooms were neat and clean. The house owners were so helpful and kind.

Had a good experience staying at ferndale. The hosts were super supportive. This was on the first floor with two rooms facing forward. The varanda was very homely and nicely done. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. This was very good for the budget. Hot water was available throughout. The host also helped with ordering dinner. Very kind of them to provide tea and coffee early morning at 5:30 am. My requirement was to just spend the night over and move out the next morning

Staying at farndale was fantastic. Our rooms were facing sere-an view location, plus nice and clean. Especially the owner mr. And mrs. Fernandez are a fondly and friendly people who treated us as family and guided not only our thekkady but also our entire trip of munnar plus thekkady.
