The Fern Residency Mumbai, Parel

The rooms have been tastefully furnished with extra cozy beds and functional amenities. The rooms are very spacious and service is of top level. Just an instance, bathroom slippers at reputed hotels are just namesake however here they give very good quality jute ones, ones you would take home :)

Comfort Inn Heritage, Parel

The hotel is value for money. Located in Byculla, works very well if you have morning meetings in South Bombay. The room is pretty nice and the food is good at their newly opened restaurant. The only thing I didn't like was poor internet connection. The hotels needs to do better on this.

TV and geyser not working. Very small rooms. Previous dust bins were not cleaned. Entrance bad shape. There was no drainage cover at the entrance. Very unsafe. Not satisfied with the facility. Make my trip should avoid such hotels for booking.

The St. Regis Mumbai, Parel

I was quite taken aback on some policies as a world traveler. I was recommended this hotel due to its excellent bar on the 37th floor. When I checked in My friend and I had checked about going to the bar and was informed hotel guests do not need reservations. However to our pleasant surprise we were informed that it is only a couple entry policy, the world over hotel guests are allowed in premises wherever even at the best hotels. This was quite strange, I think they profiled us to be strangers looking for a quick fix. Long story short this experience really cheesed me off. We did get in and paid spend twice the amount the club usually got, but they were just stroking egos for unwanted reasons. However the club was nice and exquisite and it was a good crowd. I expected full refund on my cover charge as this was unnecessary, even though they offered I don't need it, rather an apology is what I was looking for which I did not get. This point alone makes me think twice about the hotel again. Besides that hotel is beautiful and very well maintained and for the price I paid I think it is a steal maybe because it was off season. However for that lap of quality worldwide this was an exquisite surprise. Staff are overtly friendly and extremely insightful to get what you need. They make an extra effort. Would recommend single business travelers to find a company before enjoying Regis luxuries. The justification to that is what surprised and am sure hotel policies are not as such. Any other circumstances I would sue the hotel for just sheer embarrassment. However I am letting this go.
