The location: Amazing! Walking distance to landmarks such as Gateway of India, Taj, Nariman point, Leopold cafe.. Just walk out to an entire street for shopping. Hospitality: Was fine. Food: They do not provide lunch/dinner.. Just coffee, tea & basic sandwiches for breakfast, on request & costs extra.. Room: Clean and spacious enough for short stays. Had a small wardrobe for storage. Bathroom was fine as well. WARNING: Watch out for small red ants! Do not leave food unattended for too long.. And apart from that, we had one really bad unusual experience at the hotel. The bathroom is equipped with a small instant water heater.. Due to their improper plumbing, scalding hot water directly from the heater also comes out of the wash basin tap and toilet hand shower without an option to change between hot or cold. This can be potentially dangerous when washing face or using the toilet while the heater is on. It inflicted burn wounds on my wife and the pain lasted for several hours. We brought it to the notice of the hotel manager who assured us that he will look into it.

Though the hotel has good location, the rooms are small. If you are tourist then its a good hotel with OK rates. The rooms are clean and well maintained, staff are supportive and courteous. Cabs available at door step is another plus point. I would definitely recommend this hotel to someone looking for a budget stay.

From the time you enter the hotel and you get to the reception you observe the best care and each employee looking after something purposely. The reception is very courteous and all details are filled by a well trained person on his iPad in the room. The butler service is excellent and so is lounge service. The food quality for a North Indian is always a notch below Oberoi but it does not lack personal attention. You are always aware they are doing their best.

Stayed here for a business trip in the suite - Room 505. Room lacked the fitness, bedding was not comfortable and slacked. Room phone was dirty and bathroom didn't give a very hygienic feel. There was bird dropping on the windows.

Do not book meal with room. You can not avail more than 2-3 choice according to menu card ( no buffet they provide according to booking price), and claim only for one time for each. The dining room is below average. Service is very delay.

Excellent budget hotel for business travellers. The location is an advantage as it is near to Fort and CST. There are good eateries nearby which is another plus. The negative part is that the hotel is situated in a crowded market. The traffic congestion prevents you from taking uber or ola.

I checked in in this Hotel on 04-10-2015 for one day, simply because it is located in South Bombay. Though the check-in was not so bad, every other aspect of the Hotel Stay is far below average. Rooms are of extremely small sizes. The Room allotted to me exuded unbearable pesticide odour. Air Conditioner did not work whole the night, I literally suffocated. The Room intercom / telephone did not work at all. On asking for / complaining regarding these issues, Hotel Staff tried to replace the intercom / telephone instrument which did not help at all. The replaced instrument did not work. The problem with Air Conditioner could not be fixed whole night, I had a sleepless night all throughout. On asking for Room Change, the management refused for the same, making me to spend whole night in that smelly, hot, and suffocating Room. On tasting cold coffee, I could not dare to order anything else. So, no marks on food quality. The morning breakfast was okay. Not much variety was on offer. The Hotel priced their Rooms too much for what they offer. Overall, an unsatisfactory experience.

Pros: Pure Budget Stay. Clean. Quiet with privacy. Pure Self service for tea/coffee (I liked it ... But could be problematic incase of full occupancy) Cons: No food service. (Go out and have your own). No table/ desk (This was important for me as a visitor in Mumbai on work)

The room was neat but I felt it was a bit small. It was maintained pretty neat and tidy. It is very close to Gateway of India and also to other places. The staff were courteous. The food at the restaurant was very good. Liked it very much. I would recommend others to stay at Sea Palace.
