Living Roof | Terrace Cafe with Mountain View

The property and the rooms were pretty nice and cozy, but we were disappointed with the breakfast. There were no options, only one dish, poori sabzi, that too overpriced.

Room cleanliness is not good. Neither hooks nor hangers are provided for hanging cloths

The Room was small, TV was not working and the window was broken..prices were high according to the services provided. And room was not even ready on time we have to wait a lot till the room was getting ready.!!

It was comfortable and the staff were polite. The place is not noisy and it's budget friendly. They offer breakfast and even dinner even though we didn't choose a stay with breakfast included. Over all it's a good place to stay and budget friendly.

The stay was average. But. As we expected the double deluxe room to be. It wasn't like that. The room had an odd odour and the walls were cracked. More over the bed was uncomfortable and the bedsheet and pillow covers were stained. Although the staff was nice and polite and very helpful.

Intern Manager Ashok accommodated all the needy things. The dining is good, it has good vibe with songs and a dog : lassy 😀

Great hotel at shillong, nice food, great service, specially by Mr Ashok.

Nice and cozy stay, in most of the cases shillong hotels are like damp and humid, contrary to this living roof is quite nice, food is good but price is little bit higher. Service and hospitality is great special thanks to Mr Ashok, such kind and helpful person.

I stayed at Living Roof in Shillong during a recent business trip and had a truly pleasant experience. The rooms were clean, adequately spacious, and offered a peaceful environment ideal after long workdays. A special mention to Property Manager Ashok, who ensured a seamless check-in and consistently looked after our comfort throughout the stay. His professionalism and prompt assistance were greatly appreciated. Thanks also to Ankit, the owner, for his warm hospitality and responsiveness. The staff were courteous and helpful, adding to the overall positive experience. And the sunset view from the cafe was absolutely stunning an unexpected highlight on a business trip. Highly recommended for both business and leisure stays in Shillong!

I was like an oyo stay may be good for solo travels but definitely not a place for couples especially the married couples... breakfast was a disappointment for us. I wasn’t worth it for us..

The property owners and the manager went out of their ways to ensure our comfort and that all our needs were promptly met whether it was local recommendations or just simply checking in every once in a while to see how everything was going. Property: The property is an OYO style hotel with rooms above the restaurant. So it gets smelly with food and smoke during the restaurant hours. Rooms: The rooms are very basic with average bathrooms. They are worn out compared to the photos posted. No balcony so no views. Windows are facing the college so needs to be shut for privacy Location: The location is next to Shillong college. Nearest taxi stand is 300 mts away, else pay double price for calling a cab to the hotel. Food: Has a sunset view from the restaurant, so seemed a popular place. Only had breakfast which was good. Hospitality:Good, helpful staff. Dont expect above the average hospitality. Overall experience: Skip if can find a better stay

Hello guys just wanted to share my experience with the stay. For me i had a wonderful stay the location was great with good mountains view, the food was good infact they have a cafe attached within the building. M also grateful for the staffs they were professionals and took good care of me. The room and the washroom was clean and tidy. I can say to guys its worth staying there

Overall awful experience. Whether it's the view, the service, the room, or the food, nothing is even decent. No power backup available for when lights are out. No menu is available for breakfast, it is all the basic bread, omelette and eggs. The service is delayed all the time. Totally stay is very horrible
