The owner was not very welcoming when we arrived late; he kept urging us to come quickly as they were about to close the gate, which made us feel a bit uncomfortable.

Thank you for taking your time to share your experiences.l am sorry to hear that you felt uncomfortable asking you to come in time.As you know every hotels or homestays has rule for guest.Our notice for closing gate is at 10pm. Normally, in hills everything closes early and we do not have night life.Darjeeling is generally safe,however it is inadvisable to walk late at night. Staying at my home and being their guardian l told these guys to come in time. I am so sorry for this.

A pretty quiet place to spend quality time with family and friends. It's located adjacent (ten minutes walk) to the c hawk bazaar area. Food choice is limited. The owner personally looks after the guests and behaves decently. Overall i enjoyed the stay.
