familyAma homestay is a cozy place in the mountains and yangtshen was very helpful with all the information and arrangements. You can see sunrise from the attic room better than the tiger hill. We had senior citizens and 2 yr old with us and it was ok to climb up and down the stairs to reach the place. We had home food for dinner and it was delicious.

We booked two rooms one room was having a bed, but another one was not having it, they only provided a mattress. Hot water facility was not available. The place is near to a monastery. Food was good in taste, the caretaker was helpful, recommendable property for family stay.

Cabs are available in reasonable fare. The place is not so far from Darjeeling mall hardly 20 minutes walking distance. The owner are a nice family. They will welcome you with love. Food is purely home cooked. So if you are looking for light, nice food then you can depend on them. The arrangement in the rooms are very nice and clean. The decoration is very cozy. Attach bathroom facilities available. View from both the rooms are awesome. Very calm and peaceful atmosphere. Transportation is available as it is near the main road yet not in the proper city so completely free from hustle and bustle of city lives.
Fantastic place to stay. So friendly owners. We are very happy with the experience. The place is ideal for those who love solitude.
