Ivanhoe Hotel (A Heritage Property)

Me and my family had the most wonderful experience during our stay. Beyond the technical aspects, such as the position near the street food market and the main square of Chowrasta, the fresh food prepared on the day with care and affection and the wonderful and welcoming historical structure, the aspect that we appreciated the most was the warmth of the personal, always kind and helpful. they helped us plan the entirety of our activities, and did so very efficiently. they had an excellent knowledge of the english language and managed to mediate with locals by phone whenever needed. The only regret is that we couldn't stay more days; we truly felt welcomed during our stay and felt like part of a wonderful family. We could not recommend this Ivanhoe Hotel (A Heritage Property) more, you won't regret it!

Very nice heritage property.. There is an Annex building built with the property in the year 2013. So People who are booking the property to have an experience of Heritage rooms, please ensure that the rooms are in the old section of the property. However, both the buildings are property maintained and attended by courteous Staffs n Manager. The property doesn't have a full time restaurant so Food is served on pre-order basis. But rest assured with the quality and taste of the food served in the dining room.. Every corner of the property will give you a colonial feel.. 24x7 room service is missing.. Waking distance from the Mall road..

The hospitality was top notch. The caretaker , manager and everyone was so helpful and took care of every minute details during our stay to make sure we are at home. Breakfast was great and home cooked. The property gives a vintage british era vibes while including all the modern amenities and the property is easily accessible from mall road within a 5 min walk and the plus point is that your cab can come right infront of the Ivanhoe Hotel (A Heritage Property) gate to pick and drop you. Must recommend Ivanhoe Hotel (A Heritage Property) for your trip to Darjeeling

Located at a very convenient place , walkable distance from chawrasta, the main square. The Ivanhoe Hotel (A Heritage Property) has lived up to its reputation as a heritage property. The heritage rooms give out a nostalgic sense of a bygone era. The rooms in the annexe are bright and spacious. The food menu is limited but is prepared with care and gives a feeling of home cooked meals. The Ivanhoe Hotel (A Heritage Property) staff are very cordial and efficient. Overall a wonderful experience which I would repeat again without hesitation.

I stayed for 3 nights over here..and it was an amazing experience staying there..away from hustle and bustle of the city crowd ,felt like a home away from home.The property is a heritage one which is well maintained and decored.The staff ,the food ,the ambience alll will force u to come bck to this property once more .It's jst a 5 mint slow steady walk to mall and a 2 mint walk to mahakal market.Moreover,a heart felt gratitude to Mr.Rupam ( the manager) who coordinated every single need of the customers

Centrally located, quality food, excellent amenities and services par excellence! Excellent service and quality food. Make this Ivanhoe Hotel (A Heritage Property) one of the best option to come and stay with your family. I came here with my family for three days and the day was excellent. Ms. Ana and Mr Rupam Dey have been excellent host and ensured that they and their team make our stay comfortable.

Nice property to stay just near the mall.The staff behaviour is very friendly and helpful. Food quality is good.As it is a heritage property, the room is spacious and cleanliness is top notch.We had a very pleasant stay at the Ivanhoe Hotel (A Heritage Property). Surely we will visit again and recommend to others visiting Darjeeling to experience the hospitality at the property.

I were staying here 3 night from 5 jun to 8 jun.location of Ivanhoe Hotel (A Heritage Property) is extremely good near to mahakal temple and bhanu bhavan , mall road, all staff behaviour is very good room is spacious and children friendly atmosphere.for vegetarian dishes are limited food is hygienic but taste is average.

It was gud but bed was not king size rest all was gud..

Stay was good. Room is good. Food is tasty. but parking is not there. Parking is problem. Near to Mall road of darjeeling
