Review Of Zebra Hostel

Good stay. Rooms and toilets are clean. The living room ambience is very nice. They have a common area outside. We can eat and drink there. There is also a projector which we can use and vibe. We can also connect with strange people. The hostel is just 300 m away from the cliff. They provide both dormitory and private rooms. I will give 4/5 for this hostel

I absolutely loved my stay here! The location couldn’t be better—Varkala Beach is literally just a 2-minute walk away. It was such a joy to wake up and be by the ocean within minutes, whether it was for a peaceful morning walk or just to catch the sunset. The atmosphere of the place is so warm and relaxing—it instantly makes you feel at ease. Everything felt calm and welcoming, like a little escape from the busy world. And the food—wow, it was amazing! Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and felt like it was made with love. I found myself looking forward to every bite, whether it was a traditional dish or something more familiar. The amenities were clean and well-kept, and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay. They really made me feel at home, always checking in with a smile and ready to assist with anything. Honestly, this place has everything you’d want for a relaxing getaway—great vibes, delicious food, and the beach just steps away. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting Varkala.

The stay needs to improve , hostel quality is not as shown in photos , mattress and bed sheet were dirty , been to better hostels in goa with almost same price .

It has very small rooms and washrooms are common and not attached to dormitory but staff is really nice.

Our stay at Zebra Hostel was so awesome. This hostel has everything we needed with an affordable price and that too in a walkable distance from Varkala beach. The host Vivek was so welcoming and was always ready to assist us. The ambience of the hostel with indoor plants and aesthetic curios inside the hostel room was really soothing. Rooms and the toilet area were clean and hygienic. Now we’ve all the reasons to opt Zebra Hostel if we plan our trip to Varkala in the future.

The hostel’s very near to the cliff area and the host very understanding. The shared bunk beds were clean and well ventilated.

The dormitory rooms are cozy and well-equipped, providing a comfortable haven after a hot day out at the beach. The common area is also very nice where one can enjoy the company of others. Overall the hostel is very peaceful.

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere. Most friendly and helpful manager, lovely and great first impression of hostel. Everything about the hostel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

Staff was very friendly, check in and check out wasn’t hard, and the facilities were nice and cleanly.
