Such an amazing stay at Surendram Villa. The host goes all out of his way to help out in case of any smallest of your needs plus the home made breakfast is icing on the cake. The location is also not far off from the beach. Overall, a recommended place if you're looking for a homely vibe with comfort food and a calm environment.

I had a splendid stay at surendram villa. Rooms were clean and the breakfast they provide is a comforting home cooked food. The staff is very polite and helpful. Definitely a highly recommended place to stay in varkala.

Nice b&b close to papanasam beach. Stayed with family during christmas which is peak season. Nice budget property in the locality in non-peak times i imagine

We traveled as a family of four and our stay was perfect. The staff is polite and very helpful. The property is a beautiful traditional kerala house. It was very clean. The breakfast was simple but very tasty. Beach and beautiful cafes were at walking distance. Recommend it highly. 4

The staff at the villa are very helpful and friendly. Vishnu helped us book an auto rickshaw to take us to paravvur village for kayaking. Breakfast was excellent and tasted like home cooked food rather than a hotel kitchen. Everything about the place made us wish we could stay longer. Vishnu even pointed us towards landmarks and helped us with suggestions on places to visit. There's a friendly dog named rocky at the reception he is an absolute delight. We had to leave early on the last day to catch our train so we missed the home cooked breakfast on the last day of our stay but the hosts were kind enough to give us tea and bread at 6 in the morning.

This is one of the best stay we ever had, the place was well maintained. The staff here is very sweet and nice, especially mr. Vishnu, who is the care taker and manager of this place gave us good hospitality and made us to experience best kayak activity, which he arranged for us. Such a peaceful environment with good ambiance would recommend this property for your stay in varkala.

We were given the apartment in the ground floor a1 and a2 rooms but not provided with villa keys. On day 1 we had to wait for 1 hour to freshen up as there is no water. Caretaker refused to provide alternate empty rooms and kept us waiting. No hot water, geysers not working, no kitchen access they have locked it. Charging slots are too tight to use red ants in bathrooms. Mineral water is not provided on day2. No one is available at reception anytime of the day. The care taker doesn’t pickup the calls before 8am. To take out the car on day 2 we had to search everywhere for caretaker as no one is picking up calls or available at reception at 7am. Overall very bad experience (
