Shivavilas palace is simply awesome. It gives you royal hospitality, great facilities, and dining experience. We stayed here on our anniversary. They also provide tour to royal museum, vintage cars collection and sports facilities.

Tranquil property surrounded by hills, great service, good food, set, well maintained estate. Close to hampi but away from hustle bustle of hospet.

Yellow lights in the deluxe room is let down. It brings down the mood. Food options especially for the breakfast is very limited.

Peaceful place but they can work a bit on house keeping and getting chefs trained in a particular cuisine. Italian meal was a bit let down.

💯 royal. It's a lovely place away from the noise and pollution. The palace is beautiful with stuffed animals and antiques all around, good service, calm and relaxing environment giving you a luxurious and a true royal experience. We will cherish every moment spent there and would like to visit it again.

I am sure that a lot more people will be over the moon staying at this property had it showed up in results for places to stay in hampi. It for some reason does not and people are missing out on experiencing royal comfort. Everything on this property from the rooms to food to property premises are outstanding. The car and weapons museum are exquisite. The swimming pool is well maintained and perfect for the hot days that occur in this area most of the year. We stayed in the maharaja suite which is where the actual maharaja used to stay when this was his residence. It is large, easily fits a family of 4 and is adorned with many art work and traditional furniture. Really makes you are living the royal experience. Overall, we will 100% stay here for future visits and highly recommend this for anyone in the hampi area

Stayed for 1 day as family. We were able to see sander picturesque places. Hotel staff are courteous and helpful. Food is good. Nice garden around hotel. Place is very good for nature lovers.

We stayed at the Palace for only 1 day but it is worth the money. Great place to stay and relax in luxury.

Stayed at Shivavilas Palace hotel for 1 night on a weekend trip. The place, amenities, food, staff and everything has a royal touch to it and the stay was more than pleasant. That apart, is it worth visiting Sandur just because this palace is in Sandur and it was converted into a heritage hotel, and just because it is some 35 km away from Hampi! Sandur and its surroundings are completely lost in the iron ore mining. It is all red sand everywhere, roads, trees, water. The only 2 places in vicinity, Narihalla dam and marks way temple are visuals of ignorance. No facilities of any sort available. All that you come across are hundreds of fast and reckless moving heavy trucks on the roads. A good heritage hotel at a very wrong location.
