Hampi Heritage and Wilderness Resort by Jungle Lodges

Jungle Lodges isn’t like a traditional Hampi Heritage and Wilderness Resort by Jungle Lodges. It caters to the crowd that’s up for activities offered by them. Jungle Lodges in Hampi is a “heritage” resort and plans an itinerary for you for the full duration of your stay. The itinerary may sometimes be packed, depending on the day. The rooms are quite good. They are individual cottages with a lot of privacy from people, but not so much from insects that live on the property. The food is limited but good. If you’re looking to see all the top spots in Hampi, you can’t go wrong with a 3 nights/4 days stay at Jungle Lodges.

As a solo woman traveler, i got a bit of a fright seeing how far the cottages were located and how isolated the place seemed. Luckily for me, a busload of high school girls were also staying there. Having said that, I must add that the staff worked hard to make the experience memorable for us. The safari was a bonus and the staff on the safari seemed quite knowledgeable. Of course, as with most things government, the design aspect was completely missing 😕

Overall it was a great experience. Food was excellent. Service was excellent. The staff took proper care of the guests. Room cleanliness was good. Just one suggestion: People love cycling around a nature based resort. The bicycles that were kept to explore the property needed maintenance. Otherwise, it was a great experience.

The resort is little bit outside of city/market. This place is very peaceful and you can spend your time with friends/family here. Room and all the amenities are top class. Food is very good. The package they include for site visit that is worth to visit. Ill recommend to hire a guide that will be very helpful full.

Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. One of the best stay ever had.

The package was wonderful covering spacious cottage, excellent food, great service (special mention Veerenayake), trip to bear sanctuary (plus birds & Peacock) and double trips to Hampi. Only thing missing was WiFi in the room.

We had excellent and memorable stay. The package included food and site seeing. Staff is helpful and highly knowledgeable about the historic sites as well as nature. Would like to visit again and highly recommended.

Place is really nice, staff is also friendly you will get a safari with this package and it is also nice experience. But only drawback is the food. Food is not sufficient and limited food is available.

Property location is good, overall ambience and maintenance is good. It is also close to zoo, good for parents going with kids. Overall food is nice

The stay at jungle lodge was just fabulous. The rooms are big, the staff especially mr. Rakesh is friendly and the entire lodge is nestled in a forest.

Stay was comfortable, the staff at the resort are very pleasant & helpful. Food is good. The rooms are neat & clean, but lot of scope for improvement. All in all a pleasant stay.
