Hyatt Place Hampi

Location: 1.5 hour drive to Hampi and neatby places. Food: Dinner is good, breakfast is okok. Buffet they charge ~1500 but the options and services are very bad. Amenities: Decent amenities for a 4star hotel Service: Quite bad, restrooms are not good, reception staffs are not friendly and supportive. Room cleanliness: Good, no insects/cockroach in the 2nd floor rooms.

Property's location is EXCELLENT. FOOD needs a lot of improvement, a vannilla ice cream, basic muffins were substandard. Amenitiesa and service were EXCELLENT. a place where silence and peace loving ppl will Love.

The property was peaceful stay, the staff was very warm and welcoming. Love the fact that there were many locals in the staff, loved having conversations. Malikarjuna, Garv, even the security officers in all the shifts.

It was a relaxing stay at Hyatt Place Hampi. Natural easygoing vibe present throughout the property. Green spaces with lots of diverse fruits trees and decent size swimming pool made for good outdoor family fun. The food was good with lots of options and the complimentary buffet breakfast was sumptuous. In terms of indoor fun, a gym is provided for a good workout. Also, a dedicated Play Area is present for all types of indoor games like table tennis, pool, board games, Xbox, etc. What makes the Hyatt property more relaxing is the beautiful area where it is located. One can walk around the property in beautiful green well maintained spaces and a beautiful Rama temple nearby.

The property is good but the service was pathetic I travelled with my toddler for her birthday and had a terrible experience. Each order needed at least 2 follow ups and at least 1 hour waiting time.

Hyatt is set in a peaceful and scenic location, as you'd expect from the brand. The surroundings definitely add to the charm. However, our check-in experience could’ve been smoother—there seemed to be fewer staff at the reception, which led to some delays and confusion as multiple guests were waiting for assistance. The breakfast spread was impressive with a good variety, but the dinner buffet felt more average in comparison—nothing particularly memorable. Our room was comfortable and met expectations, though our experience was affected by ongoing repair work in nearby rooms, which created some noise during the day. Overall, it was a decent stay, but it’s worth noting that the service levels don’t quite match the efficiency and polish you might find at Hyatt properties in metro cities. Still, if you're looking for a calm environment and don’t mind a few hiccups, it’s a reasonable choice.

Excellent stay and superb staff. Location was within JSW township and that was added advantage to roam around . Beware that this hotel is almost an hr drive from Hampi

We had a good stay at Hyatt Place, but a few things were disappointing. The plates given to us were not clean, and when I requested clean ones, it took a long time for them to provide them. I also tried a facial at the spa, and it was a very bad experience. They hardly did anything during the session, and I didn’t like the massage at all. It felt no different from a regular salon, and definitely not worth the ₹4,700 they charged. I would not recommend taking the spa here—it’s a waste of money.

Hyatt Place Hampi is actually in Vijaynagar and 40kms away from Hampi which is the tourist place....the name makes people book it thinking it is in Hampi so we had to travel three days from Vijanagar where Jindal factories are located to Hampi which was a great inconvenience to our trip.....we had to daily waste one and half hours commuting + added taxi fare.....donot book this hotel if going to Hampi for site seeing .....when complained to staff they said the management names the hotel not us.....food was good Gaurav and Kaisa helped us with the Menu and service and stay was also good...but the location was a big put off......

It was a lovely stay. Excellent property, lovely hospitality and staffs were very warm. Rooms are nice.Pool is good. Breakfast spread is good. I would like to visit again. Even the car wash was exceptional.Garv from restaurant was exceptional.

Rooms are good. Staff is courteous and takes care of guests. However dining department needs improvement. Extremely slow service, buffet refiling takes its odd long time.

Excellent across the board, but the best is the team on ground ! Right from check in to meals to everything was spot on. Loved the stay and shall come back plus recommend within circle as well ! Thank you Devesh, Garv, Ansh and the head chef for making it special

Breakfast buffet was below average in taste especially idly, vada and poha and chutney, it was was taste like friz preserved food. Secondly pool was only open till 7 pm. Third their indoor games area , playing items were missing, you gave to call reception everytime to switch on AC and provide tt bats or x box joystick .

Beautiful property and well maintained...food was also very good. Worth the penny. We stayed in the private pool room...it was very comfortable!

Onw of our most memorable stays. A little away from the main attractions of Hampi but placed in the most beautiful property surrounded by green lush areas. a very serene place and a very comfortable atmosphere. Great hospitality and one of the best places to celebrate any special occasion. They made our celebration truly special. Good service by the staff and a huge spread of delicious choices.
