The hotel is very good. I had a great time staying there.🙂

extremely humid room and super noisy air conditioning. food quality was good but if construction works going on the hotel should not allot such room to guests.

I stayed at this hotel on 06 Sep 25. Although major renovation work is currently underway, the management has taken steps to ensure a comfortable experience for guests. At check-in, I was informed about the ongoing construction and was required to sign a noise information form. Despite the work in progress, certain areas of the hotel are well maintained and kept ready to accommodate guests. The rooms are spacious, clean, and properly maintained, offering a comfortable stay. The food, however, was average. I ordered the mutton dum biryani. While the mutton pieces were tender and well cooked, the rice was excessively oily and dripping with grease, which was quite surprising for a dum preparation. On a positive note, the staff was courteous and responded promptly to all requests, ensuring that my stay was smooth and hassle-free.

It was very good experience. Always love to stay in Vijan mahal. Everything was well organised right from stay to food and spa.

Food, location etc was good. However, response to some of my complaints could be better.

very bad experience in this hotel because this hotel is under-construction so, no any amenities are working and swimming pool is also not in working condition. food is also not like 5star. staff is very worst. our total money waste 😞

The hotel is undergoing renovation work with lots of construction material, scatter here and their and severe smell of seepage in the room. A completely unhygienic environment to spend a night at the hotel. I slept covering my nose to avoid pathic pungent smell of seeping water from the roof. Also, when I requested to change the room almost every room which they have offered similar smell of seeping water, completely unhygienic place in rainy days to spend a night what best they can offer is room spray.

Service good . Property old so you will find bit smelly carpet. But room sizw amazing . Go for buffet dinner plenty of options. Breakfast starts bit late around 7.30 . People are quiet nice. Renovation is ongoing at the moment . Once its done it will be better than before .

Hotel not worth the money and its in under construction so very dirty at a time and not everything working properly and completely hotel has some smell in room and lobby as well as in restaurant

Hotel ambience was good. Little dampness was felt in room due to rainy season. Restaurant ambience and food was good.

Terrible Experience – Aggressive Manager & Unsafe Conditions I had a deeply distressing experience at Vijan Mahal, Jabalpur on 19th July 2025, and I feel compelled to warn other travelers. We had a pre-paid, confirmed booking, and arrived at 6:00 PM. However, what we encountered was far from the expectations set by a 4-star property: The swimming pool was fully exposed to nearby construction workers, making it impossible to use with any privacy. Loud construction work was ongoing near guest areas, with dust, debris, and clear safety hazards. When we raised these concerns with the on-site manager, the situation shockingly escalated: We were made to wait over 30 minutes without being checked in. rudely told us that our booking was non-cancellable, and that we would lose the full amount, despite the clearly unsuitable conditions. When I tried to document the issues, He refused us check-in and forcibly made us leave the premises by 6:30 PM, leaving us stranded outside at dusk. This kind of behavior from a hotel manager is completely unacceptable. I’ve never experienced such aggression and hostility in any hospitality setting. Thankfully, MakeMyTrip stepped in and arranged a last-minute booking at WelcomHotel by ITC, which was a much better-managed, professional, and safe environment. ⚠️ Be cautious if you're considering Vijan Mahal. While some construction may be understandable, the rude and combative behavior of the manager turned what could have been an inconvenience into a traumatizing incident. I sincerely hope the hotel’s management investigates this incident seriously and ensures no other guests go through something similar

location is far from city but once you entered in Hotel them you forgot everything... Excellent Place to stay here.
