Review Of Transit Dorms - A Backpackers Inn & Hostel

Just a normal dormitory. No bunk beds. Nothing fancy. Incharge was very friendly. I didn't face any problem during my stay.

The room was well maintained, Staff were kind and helpful.

Decent cleanliness, willing-to-help staff and very affordable stay. Has good restaurants (affordable) nearby. My roommate was also quite good and I enjoyed my stay here.

The bathroom was not clean, the water heater was not working.

Disaster I have ever been to, their so called care takers and ownereven does not know how to speak with guests they carry typical north Indian style Tuu,Bhai type language, not even know that they should knock the door before entering in room they just come directly even not knowing that in which position or circumstances is customer carrying either he or she is changing their clothes.If you exceed for than 1 day they even don't care about changing bed sheet or pillow cover,Every time customer has to walk down to ground floor for water they haven't an to water facility on 1st and 2nd floor.So be beware before booking because you will get only bed for do not except more than it but still have booked it then pls don't argue with caretakers and owner also.

The stay was decent,room was clean and the manager at reception was really helpful and available at all times

The room I got was nothing like the pictures shown during booking. It was poorly maintained and quite dirty. Clearly, this is just an old PG converted into a hostel without proper renovation or upkeep. Definitely not recommended if you're looking for a clean and comfortable stay. Already done

We arrived around 7 PM with my 18-year-old son, who was staying for a school reunion the next day. I chose this hostel thinking it would be a safe and suitable environment for him. Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience right from the start. There was no proper reception, and the atmosphere felt quite unwelcoming. I simply wanted to check the room and quickly freshen up before heading to another location. However, the staff member who showed us the room was extremely rude and dismissive. He insisted that only my son was allowed inside and refused to let me use the washroom, even briefly. His attitude was so aggressive that I no longer felt comfortable leaving my son there. We didn’t even check in instead, we immediately booked another hotel nearby. Very unpleasant experience, and I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a safe or respectful environment.

Not a well maintained place, the photos on google are all outdated. The sheets, blanket, pillow nothing was clean. I was scared to spend the night alone but only good aspect was the care taker who ensured my safety.

An average stay for backpackers who visit Bangalore and related places Toilet facilities were also average but was very clean and neat

The caretaker was very careless of very basic needs of a customer. Everyone who stayed with me in the dorm has same complaint about the caretaker. Owner or the manager should really look into it.
