Review Of The Moksha Riverside

I have booked this hotel as per navigation. It's shows at Almora but physically this hotel is located far away from navigation shows. I was trapped at night 10 pm. Finally I took other hotel that night. This was a pathetic experience ever. If you have your own vehicle and more time to travel then only book this hotel.

I along with my wife visited Kosi Valley Retreat in april 2019. Had initially booked for 2 nights, ended up staying for 1 night only. We were the only one in the property, and it was very dark and gloomy at night with in sufficient outdoor lighting. Overall the place seemed very unsafe at night. The property is in the mid of nowhere with nothing to do. The River across the Road is down a steep slope and inaccessible. I checked with the caretaker, activities such as bonfire are very rare at the property, as there are not enough guests. There was just one bicycle and that was also not working. The manager did not even bother to understand our concern, even when we informed that we would like to check out within a day instead of two days that we paid for.

Stay was an awesome and location is too good. Staff was very caring. Warm welcome was best part.

Location and view was good, peaceful place, near to koshi river.

Confused with the location, it is cleared by continuous call over Mobile Phone. This is near Kausani not in Almora Town. This place is quite calm and good location. Room is comfortable. There is an arrangement for camp fire also. Staff are Well behaved. Foods are good and homely. Overall Excellent stay. Are K Bera on 23 Nov 2017.

Very poor service. It's a nice location away from the hustle and bustle of cities in a nice secluded corner between Almora and Kausani on the banks of the Kosi River. We were three families and not even once were we asked about how comfortable we are. The staff seemed least interested in the well being of the guests and this was quite jarring

This was a great stay we had during our trip to Almora-Ranikhet. The staff is super friendly (specially the guy named Kamal). Homely and fresh meal is served all three times and they prepare tea/coffee for you anytime you want. Activities like campfire, fishing, trekking, etc. Are arranged at the property. The rooms are comfortable and very tidy. I would suggest you go for this place if you are planning a trip around and want solitude. Also, they have a friendly dog named Braddy at the property :)
