Excellent Stay
In both hotels staff is courteous and well mannered and food is also good

Don’t book
coupleCouldn’t able to make it as there’s a landslide and hotel owner didn’t agree for refund or date change.

Poor Stay
coupleWe booked a deluxe room and cottage room paying around 4. 3k for each room but we had a terrible experience with the cottage room. The washroom of the cottage room was stinking and also when you use the flush, entire water came inside the room making it impossible to use it. We talked to the caretaker and he helped to clean it but, he could not fix it and every time you use the washroom, flush water will flow inside your room thankfully we had 2 rooms so we managed with one washroom which was a pain as we had to take stairs every time. I have taken a video to support my experience and will add it if i will get an option to add it.

There is no one to receive us and they don't even know that my room booking was in their hotel. They served us expired products like amul milk powder and nescafe coffee pouch.

Good accommodation
Staff is so helpful although the food is not up to the mark. Slightly over priced

Worst experience
The cottage, toilet, food all are pathetic. I don’t recommend any couples

Very bad food
Stay was nice with a beautiful view. Safety standards wise it was good. But food is not good there at all

Comfortable and homely place and excellent service
We stayed at the himalayan abode during our trip to badrinath. It is a few kilometers past joshimath towards badrinath. The room is well furnished. Clean bathroom with attached geyser for hot water. Balcony with a very nice view of mountains and alakananda way below. Good wifi. Ram narayanji, negiji and depu took very good care of us and our driver. We wanted to eat local gadwali food. They were very happy to make a variety of tasty dishes. Great place. Will highly recommend.

Good Stay
Property was excellent. Food and service was good. But it's 5 kms from joshimath so you should have your own car then you can enjoy this as this is very close to river.

Person doesn't follow rules its worst and don't book this hotel

Think before and reconsider there are better options
groupno hot water provided for bathing, flush wasn't working, no toiletries provided, heater cost additional charge, food taste was 🤢 and worst thing is that it is basically out of the city and very far.

Not a luxurious stay
Pros - great hosts who will help you whenever required. Cons place is 5-6km from joshimath and it isn't easy to find transport. Although the caretakers provided a heater, it wasn't working properly. The room was not cleaned properly. Bathroom was smelling and had hair.

They should add photos of deluxe room too it was to confusing coz when we reached there was nothing like in photos but the provided room was also nice
