Right from the rooms to the staff everything at the property was very hearty and comforting. We had a great time chilling in the common areas and cafe, playing board games. The hosts helped us out to plan our outing to Sharchi village as well. The river is right across the road infront of the property and one can go there easily to enjoy the calm and beauty. Perfect place to stay with your family or friends !!

I have traveled with my family and unexpectedly we found this stay, it was very amazing, soothing, and peaceful. With all the scenic river and mountain view. It was mesmerising.

So glad I found this place! It was exactly what I was looking for—wish I didn’t have other plans or I would’ve stayed longer. The rooms are super cozy with a beautiful view of the Tirthan River. Spent the day reading and sipping coffee, and it honestly felt perfect. The food was great, and the hosts were lovely—we played some TT and had a fun evening. We didn’t even feel like leaving the property, and that says a lot. Definitely coming back soon. Big cheers to the awesome team!

The stay was comfortable. Good view, very tasty food and rooms are aesthetic. Sweet staff and good wifi good connectivity. Nothing against the experience.

We had an amazing experience at The Bark wood by Hostay. The place offered breathtaking mountain views, turning each morning into a delightful experience. The rooms were luxurious yet cozy, and the staff went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. The cuisine was a standout aspect as well. A perfect spot for a peaceful retreat. Highly recommended!!

It was a wonderful experience staying at BarkWood. The rooms are pretty huge , with proper lounge setup & views. The food was authentic & delicious. My interactions with the hosts was also a delight. Both Rahul & Nitin are such great hosts, they took care of our itinerary & helped us with places to go. It's a must visit place for all families visiting Tirthan Valley.

I had an amazing time at the property, which offered a perfect blend of fun and relaxation. The ambience was exceptional—inviting, comfortable, and well thought out. With a variety of indoor sports and recreational activities available, there was never a dull moment. Whether you wanted to unwind or stay active, the property catered to all moods. What really stood out was the warmth and hospitality of the staff. They went above and beyond to make me feel at home, treating me more like a friend than a guest, ensuring my stay was both memorable and enjoyable.

What a wonderful experience it was to stay at Barkwood. Hotel is right by river bank and surrounded by lush green mountains. Wooden walls, ceiling and floor were giving vibes on nature even in the room. That sound river water was crisp even from my room and reduced my anxiety. As per the cleanliness is considered, it was 10 out of 10. Staff was super supportive. I didn't know that they got inhouse cafe also. Cafe vibes were soothing as it was a fusion of Himachali and retro style with activities like Table Tennis, many board games, separate smoking room, musical instruments and a make shift rack full of trending books. Damn, looking forward to visiting again

Kudos and thanks to bark wood by ho-stay for their amazing hospitality and comfortable stay. The entire property and the rooms are very well maintained with all the amenities one could ask for in the mountains. The property is located right opposite to the tirthan river which offers great views. The entire staff is very polite and courteous, always eager to help. Big shout out to the chef and it's team for a smacking culinary experience. I recommend this place to people travel-ling solo, in group or with family and the team at bark wood ensures to cater your needs accordingly.
